Help Finding Title of Game

Hey guys,

I was playing some arcade games today and found several I would like to find home versions of. However, I wasn't able to get the name of one of the games and was hoping someone could help. I'm not sure if it helps, but the game was on an Ultracade system, it looks like a bunch of games can go on the system so I'm not sure if that limits it very much.

Anyway, in the game you play as a guy going through a graveyard. You start out wearing metal armor, but if you get hit you lost the armor and are left in just shorts, if you get hit again you fall into a pile of bones. The weapon you start with is, what appears to be, a sword that you can throw at the enemies (I believe they were zombies) and you can get upgrades, i.e. fireballs.

I think that pretty much covers the basics, does this sound familiar to anyone at all?

the game is call ghosts and goblins. published my Capcom

Thanks so much, that is definitely it. I can't believe I've heard of the game all these years and never tried it, but it is pretty awesome. Will definitely get it!

If you like that - try the sequel too - Ghouls N' Ghosts.

It's same type of play and all, with upgraded graphics and armors.
