help...i feel like an idiot

There was a project called Warp Pipe that would let you play LAN enabled games online, but the list of games was pretty limited.

I think it's just Phantasy Star Online (Both games, I think).

Additionally, there are several "rebels" who have found a way that you can network your Gamecube through your pc, and use their software to trick your Gamecube into thinking it's tied in to a LAN network.

This allows you to play LAN-only games with people online if you prefer those games over Phantasy Star. I've never done it, but I've heard several people discuss it.

Mario Kart DD, 1080 Avalanche, and Kirby Air Ride are all LAN Compatible games that with the help of Warp Pipe you can play online. These are the only 3 games.

Both Phantasy Star Online games were able to be played online.
do the ports at the bottom of the GC have anything to do with it? if not, then what are those for?
To add the optional (and pricey) modem or broadband adapters...

This seems like the right thread for me to ask this, is it possible to surf the Internet with a broadband adapter and a Gamecube?

probably, but you're better off getting it at TRU or somewhere else, EB/GS sucks for anything INCLUDING trade-ins IMO, but your call

I have no idea what they're selling them for now (or if they even have them anymore), but Gamestop used to sell used ones for $6, which is where I got mine.
