Help in PS3 video games

Hi. Been a long xbox 360 owner. Im thinking of picking up the PS3 because its cheap now and was wondering what title games are overall better then the xbox 360. Example would be better graphics, better framerate, better mutiplayer, overall smooth gameplay. Does all ps3 games require install on harddrive? I was thinking

House of the dead overkill (is it better on wii???), Resident evil 6, dragon age????, assassin creed (i know great on pc, but between ps3 or xbox 360, which console) . I like tales of vesperia, some action games, so please recommend any games as a must have for the ps3.

Also, what's great is that if you have Amazon prime you can get most of these titles new with free shipping (if you have Amazon Prime) for around 20 dollars or less. Most of the trilogy games can be found in a box set.

There are probably more exclusive games for the PS3 but these are the A1 titles of the bunch as far as I can recall.

As far as House of the Dead goes, I've never played it, but motion control wise Nintendo was/is the king but graphically the Playstation 3 would kill the Wii in that department. So really I would say grab the PS3 version, but the game play might be slightly better on the Wii.

I had made my post from my phone, and was going to add some things when I got home, but I think you did it pretty well.

Also, PS3 requires some games to be installed, just like the 360.

Not all PS3 games install to the hard drive but most leave small amounts of data. Check the back of the box or online for details about the space a game uses.

I pick up time crisis 4 at Sam club for $5, fallout 3 goty $2.50 big lots. Still debating on house of the dead overkill on ps3. Graphics is not always needed, but how is the controls? Just want it to be enjoyable. Everyone thanks for the tips and keep going on the list. I'm trying to start my ps3 collection! Oh, can anyone recommend a good ps3 attachment gun for shooting games kinda like wii resident evil gun/ knife set?

Just picked up ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 ps3, resident evil 6 ps3, god of war saga 1-3 no download code, Mario tennis open 3ds, super street fighter 3ds, need for speed the run 3 ds all for $20. They couldn't go lower.

Any ps3 exclusive I should be considering? Love tales of. Vesperia.
