Like 8 years ago I remember playing this web based game I think it was called "Planetarium" or something like that. It was mostly a European crowd but many Americans played it. The premise was that you controlled a planet.. and there were many planets in your system also controlled by other players.
To advance in the game, you would research technologies and defend yourself by building a fleet of ships. To do all this you would have to mine asteroids.
The game had advance so much that the devs even added 3 races to the game and such and I think added a fee of only 5 dollars to play for a season. The game had forums to discuss strategy and stuff. Mind you this was a web based game, meant to be played in a browser.
Does anyone know if this game still exist? Google isn't helping.
