CAGiversary!
I just received this email
Quote:

Good Morning My Name,

How are you? I attempted to reach you via telephone in the hopes of discussing our X-Box Giveaway contest. You had downloaded an evaluation copy of our Quest Management suite, and I was hoping to have a conversation with you.

Did you have a chance to install? Perhaps we could talk at some point tomorrow morning?

Thanks, Mike

I may in fact have entered this contest; I entered many a couple months back. If I did though I have not used what ever I downloaded nor do I have any idea what it is.

What should I do?

P.S. I’m poor and would really like to win a free X-Box 360

Well, I would probably find out about the product and then give em a call. They didn't say, "Hey, you just won a 360!" though so they probably want to get you to buy their product. I would still give it a shot though.

Call them, it sounds like you didn't win, and they want to sell you whatever it was you downloaded.

On the other hand, it could be that they didn't want to seem like spam, and say you won in the email. What ever you do, you call them so they don't have your phone number.

I'm 100% sure you did *not* win an Xbox and that they're just trying to sell you the software. Don't even bother calling...

You might have won, but you'll have to sign your life away to get the damn system. The spokesperson will probably talk you into buying/signing up for things in order to obtain your "Prize".

Agreed.. just say you look at alot of porn, and you clicked the banner mid-movie clip when they start grilling you about buying something. It'll throw them off.
