Help me win free wedding photos please!

Hey CAGs,

Our wedding (Sept 13 of 2008) photographer is having a contest where she picked pictures and is having people vote on whose is the most romantic.

My picture is picture number 1 (thats me in the orange coat and my fiance in the blue). We met at that mountain and returned 5 years later to get engaged.

Anyway you don't even have to register or anything to vote. Just put in your name and vote for finalist number one. You can even use your CAG name so I know who you are. You can vote multiple times too and its pretty quick so feel free to vote for # 1 a few times if you feel like it.

We are in the lead right now but I figured it would be fun to recruit my CAG friends (and enemies) :lol: :lol: :lol: to help since I've seen other people do it.

Voted. You have the best one anyway. All the other ones are pretty generic. And you look so ridiculous proposing in that huge orange suit and with your snowboard still attached to your foot. :lol:
 
Aww, thanks alot. I think we have the best picture too but I'm obv. biased.

As to the orange coat: We do alot of backcountry boarding when I can get out west, the kind where people use transponders and tethers and dogs in case of an avalanche. Well I don't have a transponder or lanche dog but I figure that orange coat might be easy to spot in an avalanche.

Amie said "What if some of those people that you piss off vote against us?" It was a legit concern becasue I (as you correctly pointed out) can be an ass. I guess my hope is that more people like me than don't like me and will be willing to help me out.

BTW, I apologized for crappin on the wrestling thread and have stayed out for months now, but hey you're entitled to hold grudges if you wish. That was by no means my debut on CAG either, though it may be what your initial impression was based on. Either way thanks for your opinion ZL!:)

I'll vote in a sec. I saw my brother go through all his wedding stuff a couple years ago and I know how insanely expensive things get. Even though the photos will be free, I'm sure a hefty tip is in order eh?

I also propose a CAG Wedding Crashers field trip.

OMG, I would love it! How hilarious would that be? I would love it if that happened. THere will be a few CAGs there but how great would it be if a school bus full of CAGs just rolled up on the wedding. My fiance would flip (not in a good way) but I would love it.

Might be a bit of a hike from East Bay, Cali though huh?

Yours is by far the most romantic in a ridiculous sense. You win in my book for a good story to back up the picture. And a wedding website... wow, I'll just be happy if I get a date set sometime this millennia.

Please help me out some more, vote like 10 times (you dont even have to change your name), it will only take like 2 minutes and it would help me out alot.


I would do it myself but the stupid website won't let me sometimes, is anyone else havin this problem? I can't figure it out, I'll click post reply and it just goes to a blank white screen, any ideas why this is happening?

Well there is some ethical issues there and also I would hate for you to get disqualified if they do IP checks or anything. So I would refrain from doing this.
 
Yeah I asked her about this and she said that ballot stuffing was allowed. THe very rules of the contest encourage and state that you can vote as much as you want.

I think its that squarespace.com (the host of her boards) will only allow a certain number of posts withina set time frame so alot of people when trying to vote are getting white screens.

I guess this sort of helps the frontrunner but it is annoying that I cant vote anytime I want to.
 
They all suck but I voted anyway, for couple number 3. I thought #1 was two guys until I clicked your wedding website and saw the girl. No thanks are necessary...:D
