Here's the deal, my school is running a contest to name the new school bookstore. We can submit names in a contest and if is chosen we will win all of our books for the Fall Semester for free! You can also make up joke names for a separate contest. Please try to make up some names that I can use to try to win this, the deadline is the end of the week. If I use your name and it wins the contest for free books, I will buy you any game of your choice, $60 or less before tax and shipping, or I guess just give cash! Thanks, and here's the text of the email I got for more info:

"All you have to do is come up with a catchy name for the campus convenience store and, if your entry is chosen, you will receive the fall semesters books for free. There will also be a second and third prize. Second prize will be free books for one course and the third prize your choice of one book from your courses. Here's the catch. The winning name must be acceptable for actual use. For instance, we had one store where the campus decided to name the store "Bites & Nibbles" (Barnes & Noble...Bites & Nibbles...get it). No objections to that one. On the other hand, our official name for the bookstore is "The Campus Store", so playing with C&S, what came to my mind first was Crunch & Slurp, i.e., I am running down to the Crunch & Slurp for a snack. Doesn't quite have the ring of respectability, so I wouldn't advise that choice. Here's the deal. You can submit two entries. The first entry would be for a name that the overall campus would accept. The second would be just for fun (but keep it clean). I will choose three winners out of the second category. These three winners will get a 35% discount on all their emblematic clothing and gift purchase for the entire academic year. You can submit your entries via e-mail or drop them off in the bookstore. All entries for the official name must be submitted by the end of finals week. The winner will be announced when you return to campus in the fall. For the second entry, you can submit names over the summer through 8/15. Who knows what spark of inspiration will take hold as you start to daydream while toiling over your summer job. Good luck and have fun."

How about the "Megabyte"?

"I am running down to the Crunch & Slurp for a snack."
"I am running down to the Megabyte for a snack." -Sounds better

Maybe, Maybe not, my 2 cents...

I do like that Megabyte idea. They have a thing called the Cyber Cafe here, but its just called the "Cyber Cafe." I think Megabyte would be a sweet name for that. My school seems pretty uncreative, they don't really name anything I guess.

I would just say "The Den". I mean, it's a convience store, you could probably study or hang out there.. "I'm going to the den" just kinda.. I dunno, it sounds cool.

my old college literally had, 'the spot'...I think it was technically "the c-spot", which I'm not really sure what the "c" stood for.

how about...St. John's Warf
lol...j/k. I like megabyte too. megabite -> megabyte, cute.

Cardy's _____
The Nest

I'll think of more.

Cardinal's Cove

i wasnt sure if you needed it for the bookstore or the convenience store...the first sentence of the OP says bookstore, and then in the next paragraph, the first line says campus convenience store...either way, it could work for both :D

Apparently they're going to make the convenience store and bookstore the same. Your guess is as good as mine.

Richard18 - Does your school have a food management company that runs the dining services? If they do, maybe we have the same one and maybe that's why they reuse the same names. Who knows...

Thanks for all the responses. I'm not sure how many I can enter, I will find that out tomorrow when they open. If its only one, what do you think the consensus best choic would be out of all these? Personally I think Price Gougers R' Us is the most accurate title, but I don't think they'll go for it.

Holden's Corner(catcher in the rye reference)
Capes Of Cornath(grapes of wrath referece)

what is your colleges name again?

mine of course (The Cardinal's Cove) :D or scorch's (The Den), which can also be modified to "The Cardinal's Den."

I live real close to Bates College (I dunno if anyone's heard of it), and they have a restaurant called the Den. It fits better for Bates though, because their mascot is a woodland creature (I forgot what it was).
