Help name this old PC game

So this was a game I played when I was like 10 (23 now). Started you off in the forest (you were some type of elf thing i think). It was a point and click game almost. Puzzles kind of like Zork or Myst. There was a total of 4 in this game series I think. I'm almost positive the name of it started with a the letter K. I remember the first level of the first in the series had you collect gemstones and you could burn them in an alter. Eventually you got some kind of magic mirror type thing. Thanks for any help!

A King's Quest game? King's Quest II had something to do with stones.

nope, that wasnt it. the title was one name iirc. one of the CD covers had a pic of a jester type lookin guy on it if that helps.
