Hi all, this is my first thread. I've been lurking for a while but got quite a few deals from here. Thanks all! Now onto my issue...
I had pre-ordered the Mirrors Edge bundle with the Timbuk2 bag when it was still available. However, the problem is that the card that I cancelled the card it was applied to (it was lost). I called up EA in order to change the credit card that its associated to so that I can still get the Timbuk2 bag.
When I called up, it took 20 minutes of waiting to get to someone. Then it turns out that they couldn't change the credit card that its associated with... what gives? I thought that all companies should be able to do it. I pressed the customer support guy again and he talked to his manager and he said he couldnt change it either. Has anyone had this problem before? Is there a way to change this?
I thought that when you sign in, theres a "billing info" place you can sign up on. Does anyone know what happens when they try to bill the credit card and it doesnt go through? Will they contact me for new credit card info or will they just cancel the order?
I also offered up to ask if they would be able to cancel my preorder and resubmit it but they said they can only cancel it and if they try and order it, it will say its sold out (even though they would technically have one in stock from my cancellation). If anyone has dealt with EA and come up with the issue of pre-order or cancelled orders, can they please let me know what happens? Thanks all!
