For those who want information about who the Oregon Crusaders are and about, you can check them out at http://www.oregoncrusaders.org In a nutshell, they are a Drum & Bugle Corps that tours the US and performs / competes against other groups. If you want to call it professional marching band, that's about as simple as I can get it
Though the talent level is extremely high, the financial obligation is extremely large. The individuals have to put up quite a bit of their own money to tour during the summer. Operating budget can be $300,000+ in one summer (gas, food, etc...). Some budgets for other groups are well over $1Million.
Also, if you could spread the information to your friends / family / co-workers, etc.. It will make a HUGE difference in these kids' summer. Thanks a TON in advance!
