This is the product item via newegg. I'm basically just trying to reformat the drive for my coworker, but I don't have the key to this thing. Whenever I attempt to power up the pc, i run into a wall when the motherboard tries to access the harddrive. Power is getting to the drive because i notice the lcd lights up and functions in front, but the actual drive itself does not function. Could this have anything to do with the locking mechanism in front?
I dont think she has the key to this device.....is there a way to lock up the drive from functioning with this key?
And how the hell would I go about removing this thing from the cpu case altogether? I can't seem to find directions for a Thermaltake Armor Jr case. -_- Looks screwless, but man I'm lost.
