Help with an Old TV

Trikip

CAGiversary!
I'm trying to hook up my N64 or PS1 to an old TV without A/V things. I've got the RF Modulator and switch thing and all, but I can't find a VHF In thing on the TV. I do have a thing that says VHF, though. Here's a picture (that I drew on Paint, unfortunately):

The little gray dots can not be connected to anything and the wires on them hook up to an antenna which I believe came with the TV. It's a Zenith made in 1988.

Why should I do that before I know if I can hook it up to it? I was just wondering if anyone knew if there were a lot of TVs back then with VHF Ins.

If you're having problems with trying to find hookups, it's time to upgrade. You should find a standard def. tv from the last 10 years pretty cheap if you look.

I would just check out Wal-Mart. I bought a really nice sdtv for under $250 easy, and its 27". It's also to buy a tv with someway to hook it into power since yours lacks a power cord :)
(might be one of those old steam powered zeniths"

you need something like this. It connects to those gray dots in your pic then you connect your rf modulator to it. Check walmart or radio shack.

This may be it.

You should be able to find an adaptor that you would connect to the VHF by screwing the two connectors in. This will have a coax cable connection on the other end that you would connect to the RF modulator.

I did a quick search online and can't find the part, but I would suggest going to a store like RadioShack and asking them. They probably don't carry these anymore but may know where you can get one.

EDIT: Get what DT778 linked to. Looks like it will work.
I started my reply than searched and typed without checking that someone already found one.

Thanks so much you guys. I'll check that thing out.

And just if I wasn't clear, this is not the TV I usually use! Duh. I just like playing old games on old TVs.

Thanks so much. Okay, I've bought one, now how do I set it up? Do I have to unscrew the thing or just connect it somehow?
