Help with Ebay Auction Halo 3

It's really basic. Everyone who wanted Halo bought it already. It looks like a stock picture of just the outside cover. I'd honestly think it was a scam.

The biggest thing is there is still a lot of time left on the auction.
For some reason people always put off bidding until the last minutes.

Be sure to take your own pictures, don't just pull them from other people's auctions. Also, you should be more descriptive regarding the condition since they're used.

[quote name='erikatwelve']Hi so i'm helping my sister sell some Halo 3 games but nobody seems to be bidding can someone tell me what is wrong with the auctions?

Here's what you have to at least do to increase sales:

(1) Increase the amount of photographs you have. This is FREE. It's easy to do [ sign up for http://photobucket.com/ ]
(2) You can also "watermark" your photos - this indirectly lets your buyers know that the photos are indeed yours. This also prevents other people from stealing your photos.
(3) A better description. It doesn't have to be lengthy. Be clear and concise.
(4) If you are indeed selling three (3) Halos. Do not use the same photos for all three auctions.
(5) You can also take one photograph of ALL three halos, and specify that the winning bidder will get only 1 halo game. BUT use different photos for all three auctions.

Here's an example. This is FREE to do by the way. This will help/should boost your sales. You also don't want your photos to be too large (some individuals still work on dial-up connection). Too small of a photo doesn't work well either.

Secondly, I see that you are selling a bunch of comics.

You have to "sell/auction" your item that caters to individuals who actually care about the items you have up for auction:

When I see the following listing,

http://cgi.ebay.com/The-Walking-Dead-Issues-1-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15-25_W0QQitemZ330191325852QQihZ014QQcategoryZ3981QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I don't get a sense that you care about the comics. The picture is really tiny. You definitely need larger pictures. Both front and back photos would be nice as well. I would suggest taking a picture of most of the comics.

If you need help with the photos. Send me a private message or simply respond here.

Your other auction are DVDs.

Most (if not all) who reside in the United States want region 1 DVDs. Any time I see DVDs listed without specifying the region code, I automatically pass because I figure they might be imported products. Some people also care whether they're in WIDESCREEN or FULLSCREEN. It's important to specify that.

Reassure me that these are authentic products. Photographs of the DVD front and back cover will do wonders. Again, more photos (and you should use photobucket.com to do this). Putting up extra photos on ebay is FREE ONLY if you use photobucket (or any other picture hosting site). DO NOT use ebay's "browse" for photo function - these cost money.
