help with NBA 2K5

Now I'm probably an idiot but for some reason when I'm playing the Association mode in NBA 2K5 I can't figure out how to change the team I want to offer a trade to. It's at PHI by default but I don't know what buttons to press to change it to other teams. Can somebody help me out here?

You're either supposed to press the black and white buttons or the triggers, I think. I'll check later.
