Heroes of Mana Questions

I really want to like this game, but there are things I want to know before it comes out if anyone knows more about this game
- How bad is the micromanagement mid-battle? (I mean do you have to construct all of your units before using them like in a lot of RTSs? or is it more like a TRPG where you start with a set number of units) I am not very good RTSs because of the micromanagement thing.
- How hard is the system to manage overall?
- Should I just get Luminous Arc instead based on how badly I do at other RTSs? I don't wan to buy it just to find out I can't play it worth anything.

All I know is even in the 8.0 IGN review, they said there was some bad path-finding AI occasionally... which is a huge pain in the ass.

Luminous Arc also has me waiting now that it's starting to look fairly mediocre as well. Somewhat disappointed in early returns for both of those.

You build your units on the fly. Collect building resources ala early Warcraft.
- How hard is the system to manage overall?
Yes. Micromanagement skills are needed in later levels. (By yes I mean hard.)
- Should I just get Luminous Arc instead based on how badly I do at other RTSs?
Arc is more like FF:RW, FFT, and FFTA.

hopefully Gamefly updates their site and they do get arc in today and it ships LATE TONIGHT so i would have it by the weekend but doubtful
