I just came back from the Target on Route 23. in NJ, and they had no copies left.
I asked them for a rain-check, and they gave me a bull-crap answer saying that "just that one item" was un-rain-check-able, so they refused to give me a rain-check for it (depsite people in this thread clearly getting them).. so yeah, I recommend not going to this Target - I'm going to try and check a few others before the sale ends tomorrow though.
I am in NJ also, and my local Target was out of them, too. I asked for a rain check at customer service, and the girl (her name tag said she was a new team member) tried for about 15 minutes to give me a raincheck. Finally, she called for back up, and some snotty Michelle Rodriguez-esque chick snapped at me "Yo, no rainchecks for dose itemz!" and I said "I don't see anywhere on the ad where it states "quantites are limited, no rainchecks" So she had some other guy come over to find the item number of the DVD, but she said "No raincheck cuz it aint in da black n white book!" So the other guy came over with the little Star Trek phasor machine, kept searching it for about 10 minutes, finally got the number and gave it to the new returns girl and he walked away. So then the return girl still couldn't figure out how to do a rain check, and I continued to wait. So then another employee came by and she asked him for help, but then he just called someone else to help her.
So finally, if you are still reading this, another guy comes over, punches in the number, and the register prints out a listing of "local" Targets that "might" have the item in stock, because "that item is not eligable for a rain check".
So I waited about 25 minutes for a list of Target stores.
I don't care too much about the DVD, at $19 I was mildly interested, at $13 I would have bit, but I hate poor customer service.
