"He's a ni**er!" shouted at Palin rally. She ignores it.

It happens at the 39 second mark here. Palin starts fumbling her speech afterward so you know she heard it.

And don't forget the repeated calls of "terrorist!" at nearly every Mccain rally...and the "Kill Him!" scream at 13 seconds here.. Again, it is obvious from Mccain's reaction that he heard, yet he says nothing.

Why don't Mccain/Palin call these people out and ask them to leave? I'm guessing because they know these are a huge chunk of their base...and without the support of crazy racists and rednecks, they would be even further behind in the polls.

Even I would be hesitant to blame McCain except for the fact that his whole entire "Do we even know who Obama is?" is torn directly from those racist emails going around and do not get me started on McCain's recent "welfare" line of garbage.

They know exactly what they were doing.

I can't really make it out either, as mykevermin mentioned.

I difference between the two campaigns, we see that if people start being ignorant and disruptive at Obama rallies, he calls them out, gives them a chance, and if they fail, has them leave.

I have seen video of McCain trying to tap it down, and honestly I respect that. I honestly think there's a strong possibility that McCain doesn't want to dignify these attacks anymore, because any time he responds it seems to make the daily news cycle and paint him in a worse light (a real lose-lose)

Palin - now she's just a terror.

There is a problem with the McCain and Palin campaign. When you associate someone publicly with a terrorist, you become a fearmonger, and that is what they were spreading.. much like Bush in 2004 when they released the Bin Laden tape endorsing John Kerry. Add that in with the fact that Barack Obama is not named John Smith and his middle name is Hussein and it just adds to the fear they spread to their ignorant constituates..

That is why you hear more hatred from the Republicans.

I'm not one to defend Palin, but first off, she was stumbling well before anyone said anything. And second off, the way that microphones and cameras work in this case, likely the camera was pretty far away from Palin and zoomed in. The camera gets 2 feeds, one is the crowd noise, which is centered around the camera, and the other is a direct feed to the microphone system. As someone who does a lot of shooting for conferences and other events, I can assure you that there are a lot of things that a camera will pick up that the speaker of an event can not hear. Listening to the camera feed afterwards can result in some funny commentary from people in the back row, right in front of you.

That being said, the person did yell it. I don't think there's enough evidence to support the fact that she heard it.

McCain knows the only way he can win is to get the racists going. I would like to know why the FBI or whoever never arrested the asshole who yelled "Let's kill him!".

Of course these videos are exactly why Obama will never ever win, there is no chance in hell. I don't give a fuck if the national polls have him up by 70%, OBama will not win next week.

Place the bets now on the inevitable assasination? I mean its bound to happen in my opinion, it will be terrible but its going to happen if he wins.

I bet you're right unfortunately. There are thousands of ignorant people out there who still think he's a muslim... One of them is bound to make an attempt.

It's one thing to be ignorant of where a candidate stands on issues, i remember that video posted that had some Obama supporters who didn't know any of his stances.

This is totally different though, it's these people who give America a bad image, these are the people we don't need. Hearing someone shout something like this at a rally must be a PR nightmare. The McCain campaign has fed it to an extent, you make people afraid of someone/something and they begin to hate it also.

McCain has made Obama out to be such a bad person that these hicks seriously think he's evil. I don't like McCain personally, but i don't wish the man dead for crying out loud.

When i hear people say that about Obama, it makes it feel less like a campaign rally and more like a lynch mob.

If it does happen i'll be seriously afraid. The first black president in history killed by some ignorant racist, there will be riots in the streets.

i'm just worried... he's just too good to be true, they better be protecting him well.

I agree with all that.

Wow. Now that was amusing. There has to be some network executive trying to get these people into a contract after seeing that. That's reality tv gold.

Now if we can get bmulligan and his personal servant, Heavy Hitter, in here to say that shouting such a thing is okay, because it is, after all, rooted in fact.

I agree with not hearing it.. but when there is a long pause, address it.. btw, there are many times where McCain is up talking to a crowd and you can see that McCain looks visibly disgusted with some of the outbursts, questions, terrorism connections...

I've seen that redneck video a while ago. I was more interested in the what fuck the 3 of them are doing on an ATV with a dog riding up front LOL. Also amusing how the guy in the back is embarised and trying to cover his face.

But it is disgusting these attacks about obama being a muslim. I don't know who said it but some one finally did say it. Even if Obama was a muslim, which he isn't, but if he was, what the fuck would be wrong with that! It's unfortunate every presidential candidate must display there christianity like a hooker on the street. Not sure what happened to the 1st amedment, but many of us seem to have missed the spirit of religious freedom and tolerance.

It's unconsiousnable that supporter/speakers at rallies woud say Barack "Hussein" Obama. Empahsis on Hussein, and try to mislead the public.

I think the biggest problem in the OP's first video is not the shout from the crowd, but rather what Palin's saying. It's amazing that such statements can even be legal. It's completely slanderous. I've heard Palin/McCain allude to communism re:Obama, but never so thinly veiled. She came right out and said it -- not only said it, but described it Red Scare style.

Really, honestly, that clip makes me angrier than anything else Palin or McCain have ever said or done. I really just want to be there to punch her in the face for being a malicious, lying cunt. Nothing else I've seen in this election had made me feel that way.

Ever hear of the first amendment? Perhaps you should read it.

Wow, someone's appreciation of the First Amendment is lacking. I'm sure you also support the "Fairness Doctrine."

You know full well that is not even in the same league with what Palin said.

Why in the hell should someone listen to a wanton pederast such as yourself?
You know full well that is not even in the same league with what Palin said.
That's true, but your claim was that koggit lacked a knowledge of the first amendment, when it's really just a poor understanding of libel/slander laws.

I never said her statements were illegal, I said it's amazing that they are -- that is, they shouldn't be. Laws are in place to protect people from damage caused by the intentional, baseless lies of others, the McCain campaign is skirting awfully close to what can be proven to fit that description... they know it. They have to know it. Their speech writers must be sitting in a room saying "Let's convince America that Obama is a dirty pinko, and let's throw in some good ole red scare propaganda. We have to be discrete enough not to get sued, though."
You know full well that is not even in the same league with what Palin said.
Pretty soon, Mykevermin is going to start talking shit about Johnny Turbo and the Turbografx. When that starts, it'll be WAR! :twoguns:

Gonna go hug my copy of Lords of Thunder... and then fire up Magic Engine to play some Air Zonk... TTi FTW!

I'm glad that the master of slander, Johnny Turbo, told me that those bastards at FEKA weren't even human... otherwise, I may have had to put up with a Genesis/SegaCD and its puny 64 colors... who needs parallax scrolling anyway?
i think we can see a trend that older people tend to be the majority of the racism..which is no good considering..
Been on Live recently? Or how about the "cute" ninja graphic we used to have here on CAG so certain people could live their dreams of using the n-word unabated?

While racism (blatant or passive) tends to be prevalent more in older people, stupidty can flare up at any age.

I agree with you here, but there is at least some positive progress. IMO, most of the kids on live and on the internet that do stupid shit like that are doing so because they're immature more often than because they're actually racist. There's still hope that they can grow out of it and learn how to use their brains.

I could be wrong though, and it's simply that the only reason why they may seem to not really be racist is just because the internet is the only socially acceptable outlet. Around here people are just blatantly racist as long as they're with a group that they feel comfortable with (and there are no minorities in it). My mom's entire family is racist (including her), my gf's parents are racist, and my gf's brother and his wife's family are also racist. Though I'm still pretty sure this state (VA) will go for Obama.

A "joke" I heard recently about Obama - "How can somebody think that a $$$$er can run the country when 10 can't run a McDonalds?"
