Ridiculous, I know...BUT...here's how the conversation went...
Wife: "I know you just finished graduate school, and your job doesn't start for two months, but I'm sick of you playing that stupid game all the time."
Me: "What do you want me to do about it?"
Wife: "Sell it."
Me: "Seriously??"
Wife: "When I bought it for you, you said that you'd get rid of it if I ever asked you to, so I'm asking. Put it on eBay."
Me: "Are you really serious?"
Wife: "Absolutely...you promised me."
Me: "Well, if I sell it, can I use the money to get a motorcycle?"
Wife: After laughing (she knew what she paid for it, and clearly thought I was joking), "Suuure, if you can buy a motorcycle for what you sell it for, then you got it."
Me: "Fine. I'll list it tomorrow."
She never said what price I needed to list it for. Frankly, I don't think she's ever used eBay, so she probably doesn't know how someone prices their stuff. So, I'm pricing it so it won't sell, and then I can tell her I tried, but nobody wanted it. And, if someone really thought a used PS3 was worth $15 grand, then I've got myself a brand new motorcycle. Win-freaking-win for me!
