HMV over RRP?

Bijisan

CAGiversary!
Not sure if this is a recent thing or has always been this way with HMV, but I've been looking at some games recently and noticed the price at HMV (both in store and online) have been more than what other websites are showing as the RRP.

the most recent example I have is for the Sly collection on PS3, I saw it advertised on play.com and amazon as having an RRP of 29.99(with them selling it at 24.99), so I went to HMV and they had it displayed not at 29.99, but at 34.99 and it's the same on their website. Now I've had plenty of good deals from them in the past, but it seems lately I've been seeing this more and more often from them.

Anyone else noticed it? Or am I crazy?

I believe RRP used to mean something decades ago when prices for certain good were regulated. Now it is merely a marketing tool.

I wouldn't buy anything from HMV again... not only are their prices over the odds, but they take an age to deliver.
