HMV: PSP-3000 bundles $99.99

They dont ship anywhere. They did briefly, it was a disaster of unfilled/delayed orders and they gave up.

Hannah Montana one for $70 for those so inclined, the only one in stock locally.

Great deal. I got one of the lilac ones at Toys R Us for $100 earlier this year but these are the better deal since they come with games that don't suck.

i'll try and get the hannah montana bundle, it's not a completely girlish purple, and i have enough faith in my manliness to use one even if it was shocking pink.

Yeah I actually like the lilac one because it doesn't show fingerprints and is somewhat unique looking. I sold the game and movie for $7 or 8 and the memory stick for $20.

Got the last MGS bundle at Stone Rd!!! It was on hold but the person didn't pick it up the day before.

Mine too...

I thought I confirmed it was just mine cause everyone else I've talked to said it's not like that for them. But now I'm thinking these are refurbished or something.

Did yours look like it was opened before? Mine did. It had two of those circular stickers on top of one another, and the one underneath was opened. But everything inside seemed intact so I didn't bother returning it.

And now this...

i can confirm the same, bought the mgs pack, there were savegames already on the card, and a stack of mp3s. dude at the counter said the double seals were so they could put the bilingual manuals in at the factory, i call BS.

Mine had the stickers too but there two each on the sides.

Hmm, I was thinking of one of these, but not sure after I read a few of the recent posts. Sounds like HMV should tell people they are selling refurbished items ... isn't it illegal to not inform the customer? Bait and switch doesn't really apply here because it is the same product, but new vs. refurbished is something the customer should know about up front.

My MGS bundle also had doubled up clear stickers on the sides, but they didn't appear to have been cut.
None of the contents in the box were wrapped in plastic or anything though [not sure if that's normal or not].

I got my psp-3000 from eb games about a year back and I actually just noticed this on my system too...

I searched for info on this and it seems like it's a defect on the screen...

Yeah, no plastic bags is normal. I double checked by watching an "unboxing" video on Youtube

This is starting to look more widespread than I thought. But yeah those links describe my PSP's problem.

Here's my screen:

Like the guy in one of your links said, it's only that noticeable on darker backgrounds. But I can't unsee it on every screen now, no matter how faint...

I just tried out my MGS psp for the first time.
Looks like I have the white screen issue as well.
I can only really see it on black backgrounds, so I think I'll just learn to live with it.

Btw, does anyone know what cable I'm supposed to get/use to connect the PSP to the PS3? I would've thought the PSP might come with it, but I guess not.

Is it this?

The PSP Go one is cheaper, I wonder if that'd work

For a 3000 it's just a standard mini-USB to USB cable, like this for example:

http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10303&cs_id=1030302&p_id=5449&seq=1&format=2

You may already have one kicking around, as it's the same connector that's used on a PS3 controller.

I have the exact same problem except mine looks way worse.

Would it look the same if I used the component cables on a TV???
