This is my first time posting a deal, but here we go! My local Hollywood Video remodeled itself and put in this kiosk where they display and sell new games. Around it they have a few rows of used games. About a month ago they had these hand written flyers with the above deal. I picked up The Darkness, Wind Waker and Mario Sunshine for $30. Went in yesterday and they still had the deal going on, got me God of War II, Kingdom Hearts II and Bully.

The Hollywood Video that i went to last month in VA had this sale going on. Got Wind Waker, Tales of Symphonia, and Predator PS2.

Good pick ups, OP

These are Hollywood Video stores without GameCrazy attached? The description by the OP makes it sound like they had just added a GameCrazy in the store. There's been a bunch closing in my area too, including the only one with a GC in it.

Actually I heard about this sale last month and asked the employees at Gamecrazy who told me the sale is only for Hollywood Videos. If GC had this deal going on I would've cleaned up there.

It's just a regular Hollywood videostore. They had mentioned something about a gamecrazy a couple of years ago, but that never happened. I would say that they have about 20% new and 80% used, games wise. Sorry about the confusion earlier.

I've been trying to use this deal for awhile since I noticed it, but I've only visited ones with kiddy games are the majority of the stock. Luckily I stopped at one to avoid rush hour today and found a pretty good haul.

Tales of Symphonia
Resident Evil 4
The Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker

Complete with manuals the only thing I'm second guessing is allowing them to buff the cds, anyone have any problems with that?

ets, you're lucky to get complete copies. It's rare for me to get anything other than their replacement covers at Hollywood Video.

When I brought like 10 games into GameCrazy to get buffed (they weren't happy with me that day) they all came out in pristine condition. However weeks later when I went to get some CDs and DVDs buffed they came out looking worse than before. Oddly enough they worked fine so I guess the marks left on the disc were only cosmetic.

Yeah every time I have checked out games at a non-GC HV games were always in replacement cases and the discs were super scratched up. At least at BB the rentals are too expensive so the discs stay in good shape :)

I know! I was thinking of getting both copies of ToS, but the other copy didn't have the original stuff so I grabbed RE4. Really glad I didn't get the HV synopsis back cover and the non-Nintendo case.

I guess thats good news, hopefully if something goes wrong I can use their lifetime warranty on games to exchange it.
