Hologram Time Traveler(i never heard of it)-4.99 ebgames

haha thats not really a game, more of like a dvd you can play with your remote. I assume its sort of like a choose your own adventure thing. Pretty funny if you want it for kicks. Its not even a PS2 game, it just says PS2 compatible on the box. Theres a couple other games like that on ebgames.com too.

HOW HAVE YOU NOT HEARD OF THIS!??!?!!?

OMG, it was the coolest thing EVER at the arcades. I think I was six when I saw it. I was totally amazed at it, the people that popped up, I kept waving my hand through them.. I was like WHY CAN'T I TOUCH THEM?!?!?!?!

I hear you... I remember thinking how it looked kinda cool it was back then... but also thinking, man, this is really cheesy. Even back then. Somehow you're taking orders from some Flash Gordon love interest reject, then you're in the Wild West?

It had a story line too!? I was just too amazed at the people. It was the coolest thing I had ever seen in my life. I thought they were inside of the machine.

I'm really curious about what it looked like. Not the dvd game but the original arcade version.

omg i used to play this at the arcades. the machine was really fat and short. and the people were 3d holograms. it was like dragon's lair [ i used to love that game when i was a kid ] but with real life actors. it was a quarter killer

Ahh, I too remember this when I was younger. I also remember that damn Dragon's Lair. I had no idea how to beat it.

I remember playing this at the local miniature golf place when I was younger. Call me crazy, but the whole notion of playing a hologram cowboy that shot ninjas and sword-wielding arabs while trying to save a scantily-clad space princess just did something for me - especially when it was all done in that bitchin' Dragon's Lair style (the same guy made both of them). I'm tempted to pick this up just for the sheer nostalgia factor, even though I know it won't be anywhere near as cool as the actual arcade cabinet was.

Sorry it's not a larger image.

they should make games today like that . back in the day it was neat. only played it once or twice cause the place that had it was charging like 4x the normal game to play it.

I remember seeing this in the arcades as well, though, I was a bit older than six.

It was a neat idea at the time, though it didn't seem to go anywhere with it. Like Dragon's Lair, except in "3D".
Sorry, i never heard of it at all. What year was it an arcade game?
Get Scorch to tell you how old he is now, and you can do the math to figure it out.

This game was the biggest piece of junk, I had the chance to play it in freeplay mode and it was still unplayable. But still a great idea that just didnt work out
I saw it at disney a long time ago
Same here, I played it at the Caribbean Beach hotel in the early 90's

'91 or '92 sounds right; I think I was a junior in high school when our local arcade got it. Terrible game but very cool to look at - just like Dragon's Lair. I think it was $1 a play at the time, which was a lot.

damn kids these days. Sega put this thing out a while back. It was even on the local news here in SoCal when it came out. It cost like 2 bucks to play and was a total rip off. They eventually came out with a fighting game to go into the 3d arcade cabinet. You can sometimes see the arcade machines on ebay.
By that logic, punq, it's 1991 and I was 21 at the time, since it was 13 years ago.

Damn, I feel old all of a sudden. :(
I hear ya, shrike, I was 19 in 1991. Ouch! :(

Well, if anything, you just made me feel younger :)
