hook ipod up to multiple computers

Can you hook 1 ipod up to multiple computers? I'm living with my uncle this summer, so if I buy music out there can I hook my ipod up to his computer and transfer the music to it?

What do you mean? Let me explain better. I have my ipod connected to my computer at home. All my music is on this computer, at my house. I am going to live with my Uncle. So my question is can I download iTunes for his computer and use it to put music on my ipod, if I buy a CD while I'm out there.

yes, but i think it's only if its a mac to a mac, or pc to a pc.

Can you? I thought that if you connected an iPod to a different computer, it would delete all the files and then let you load them to your iPod, effectively making duplication impossible...

yeah, in order to keep you form "bootlegging" your songs to other people you won't be able to transfer your songs to another computer.

That's one the big reasons many of us don't do ipod.
