As many of you know FYE, Coconuts, and Wherehouse have some crazy trade-in prices at times....its kind of died down now though. I had a lot of credit stacked up. Thanks to Circuit City I finished up enough for a PSP value pack. Powerdrome was .96 cents....for 3 shipped it came to 9.01. They gave me from $9.00-$11.25 for it at fye and coconuts. After the tally of games bought and price paid it was a cool $85 bucks! Who the hell needs a price drop? HAHA.

you still paid 250 bucks for the system though cause you used 250 bucks in credit....

Not bad, i once compiled 500 FYE credit in one time during the buy 2 get 1 sale at gamestop. I drove over 50 miles both ways and visited multiple gamestops to get a ton of sun 10 dollar games. After i was done hunting i dont think i paid more then 130 dollars out of my pocket.

After that week FYE banned me permenantly. lol.

slidecage is probably jealous, he fails to realize that $250 in store credit (at a store like FYE no less) does not equate to cash value.

why would i be jealous , i have around 300 bucks in FYE credit BUT im not running over to buy a PSP cause it still 250 bucks you blew... its still 250 bucks you could blew on other games/ systems... my 300 cost me around 125 but when i finally spend it I still say i blew 300 bucks

but if the dude is happy, then im happy for them

Ur pretty lucky, casue my local FYE only accepts oen used copy of a game in TOTAL and doesnt except old games.

I actually go to about 4 or 5 coconuts and fye's. I only drop one at a time at one store.

I disagree . . . I always keep the initial price in mind with this kind of stuff . . . like the time I got a new Steel Battalion for about $50 (using EB trade-in deals).

The guy spent $85 with a PSP in mind . . . he could've gotten other things but FYE sucks so bad that he would've lost his edge getting overpriced stuff.

Good work. I felt great when I got a PSP and 4 games for about $200 out of pocket after trading from GR. I wish GR still had their deals. With DMC3:SE, MGS3:Substinance (sp?), and God of War dropping in price, I could really use a PS2, but I'm too cheap to spend $150 out of pocket.

That's what I was trying to say, but I thought I saw someone around here use =/= for doesn't equal.
 
I got my PSP used from Gamestop with about $50 bucks in cash using up store credit so I can't complain. It costs 200 bucks for a used one.
