Don't know if this is the right forum for it.. but I ended up with a nice haul today. I saw an ad for TRU this last sunday that listed a bunch of great games for $4.99, though I hadn't noticed the "and up" part of the offer.
So, out of the 10 or so games displayed.. one was $4.99, 3 or 4 were $9.99 (including MP2:Echoes) and others were $49.99. The manager told me, basically, "Tough rocks, we did false advertising. So kiss my grits." So, I basically said to stuff their ad where sunshine doesn't reach.. lol. I mean.. it'd be like me posting an ad with a convertable, jet plane and PS2, saying "These items, on sale.. $149.99 and up!"
Anyway, after the guy rang me up at $80+ instead of the $10 I was goin' for.. I headed over to Circuit City.
Ended up getting Gran Turismo 4 and Psychonauts, out of the TRU ad, and Dragon Quest VIII, out of the Best Buy ad, all for $48.45. I walked in with a crisp $50 bill in hand.. walked out with $160 worth of gaming goodness.. lol.
