Hori Fighting Stick 3 (PS3) $35 shipped at Buy.com
How are quality/durability of these versus those SF4 TE thing?
These aren't the same quality. The Hori Real Arcade Pro or either of the SF4 sticks are much better. The cheap parts on this basic model may wear out quickly and it's a difficult stick to upgrade. The buttons are soldered in place and all the holes are non-standard and need to be dremeled. Not an easy stick to mod.

If you just want a basic stick it's not bad for the price, but you get what you pay for...

I have this stick, and I must say it's A VERY GOOD STICK especially for the price. It doesn't feel as fluid as the TE stick, but I don't find myself performing moves any better using the TE over this. Hori makes great sticks, and I definitely recommend the FS3 for casuals and serious fighting gamers alike (especially for under $40).

p.s. I heard this stick isn't very mod friendly, so you'd have to do a little more work if you want to mod it. Also, the stick is about 2/3 the size of a TE, and about 4 pounds. Very durable and usable (I mashed on it for hours straight and it still performs as good as new). Also, the turbo on this stick is superior compared to TE (1/60 over TE's 1/20), if you want to cheat online by using turbo (you will never miss a link combo even with lag) then get this over the TE because the TE's turbo isn't fast enough to link without fail. Just remember that you'll stay a noob forever if you use turbo, but the choice is there.

gotta get this now then while its in stock. nice find. just wondering though, should i perhaps wait to get another stick? i am more of just a casual player though. got SF4 and BlazBlue ordered.

If you're a casual then I suggest that you get this stick now. You won't play better with the $150 TE (I have one, and it has high quality parts, but it doesn't change my gameplay), and this is a good looking stick. If you want to play fighting games without having your thumb falling off or isn't a die hard fighting games collector/fan/professional, then I suggest you get the Fight Stick 3 now.

Placed an order once i saw the buy.com newsletter in fear that it was going to be OOS soon, hopefully order does go through.

Came here to see what other CAG's have to say about the quality of the stick. :)

Im more excited about using this on my PC and playing some MUGEN with it.

Thanks for the info guys!
Can it be played with Ps2 games?
I read somewhere that it is compatible with PS2 titles. My question is will it work with MAME for PC? I've always wanted a good arcade stick, and it'd be great if I could use it for both PS3 and PC.
