Hori Wii Arcade Stick and Super Smash Bros. Brawl

I tried to use the Hori Arcade Stick with Super Smash Bros. Brawl and it is not working for me. When I use the actual arcade stick to select through the menus, it works fine. However, when I get into the game, I cannot move. Every time I push a direction on the stick, it does attack moves. It will not move the character. All the turbo buttons are off and it still isn't working.

I thought the stick would work with any game that supports the classic controller. It's funny that it works in the menu screen, but not in game. Is anybody else having any issues with this?

I'll try it, but it shouldnt work in the first place. The Stick doubles as the CC, which uses the analog stick for movement, which the stick doesnt have.

Edit: I could do everything but move. The directions on the stick are tied to taunts and cant be switched to digital movement.

I never thought about it like that. I figured since it emulates a Classic Controller, it would work.

Edit: Damn that sucks. It's the main reason I bought the controller. Oh well.
