Seriously though here's the full story:
These two guys were all over this high school girl in the clearance aisle I desparately wanted to look through. So I finally just start looking through there ignoring the guys. The girl says I love your shirt, which started it. Maybe I was her fall guy to get rid of the guys. The most vocal guy says, I like your shoes. I respond, "Thank you." And continue looking through the necklaces. He then says "don't get this one some jerk broke it heh heh. My name's Jim." I nod and say "That's nice." He then responds, "and I like you."
I laugh and look up at him, "That's special."
Then I glance around seeing where my less than heroic fiancee was while this guy was hitting on me. He finally comes around the corner as the guys are leaving. They start conversing with Jonathan starting with "You have a nice face."
Jonathan responds, "Yes, I like it. It's much better than yours."
Guylaughs and says, "So what are you here for?"
He points at me, "Her."

Then we see said guys in GS later. They tried conversing again. I think they were high or just dumb high school students. Maybe both.

I did buy a cute jigglypuff purse that was WAY too expensive. I got a Jigglypuff cellphone strap too for my DS.

I tried California Pizza Kitchen. My god it was expensive. But thankfully with gift card, not too bad.

California Peetsuh Kitchen in FL? TEH!?

I was afraid that was the case. I think I'd like a mech war simulator than an FPS, but eh.

Sucks how XBL can be a double-edged sword in such matters.

They atleast keep the server open. XBL is $$$. I think CAG has a Gaming Night for that, but I warn you now.. XBL nights w/ CAG are horrrrrrrrible.

People just migrate to hot titles.

Sweet! DC Restaurant Week is coming up when I get back to DC! I've been interested in this ever since I read about it. Nice restaurants for what looks like a lot cheaper than normal. My friend and I have to check this out.
This. And not only because its time for your afternoon nap.
:oldman:

Sorry, I don't think so. Warner going BR only isn't the news that dallow makes it out to be, so it's yawnable to me.
Hmm. Do I do the Pacific Life Open or the Tennis School Invitational?

MOXIO HALP.
Pacific Life.
Just in case you guys didn't know, the HD media war just ended.

Warner went BD exclusive.
I know this is a really gay reason but I like blu-rays more just cause I like the blue packaging.

Plus it just sounds better than "HD-DVD"
Mox, I just read you lost your Persona 3 save...ouch.

How far were you?
Near the end.

Along with the corruption I lost other stuff like FFXII and whatnot.

Eh, oh well. I can always replay them, I suppose. I've been meaning to get back into P3.

Also, to those who are considering using the $25 Dell coupon: an SD poster claimed he will post 100 of the stackable 10% off coupons tonight/this weekend.

Just a heads up.

Sites and forums are imploding around the world as we type. :)

And Mak, I like the Blu cases better too.
The dark red was depressing.
I owned Top Spin on xbox. Shit used to give me blisters.
TS2 is much better than TS. TS is so old it has players like Michael Chang.

I really hope TS3 is better than 2. So far it looks great, but I think they said they're changing some gameplay factors, hopefully for the better.

I made my own guy anyway, since I couldn't name a single tennis player. My dude looked like a fish. It was a fun game, butttttttttttt I dunno if I'd buy another.

Also, not that you all have sexboxes, you should be nice to it and give it a place to gain some introspection. Here's the one I had from when I was FMS.

Kinda fun to check.

It's another case of payoffs making one movie house go one-format only.
Will I get bored with it after a week of playing like I did the first one? I see one on craigslist for $13.
I can't tell you that. Sixers and I enjoy it.

Also: ugh@no new Shounen Jump until the 18th.

I thought I just had a migraine yesterday. No...I'm so sick, that this is the first time I have really been out of bed today. I have such a fever and my joints are killing me.

Mass Effect is in the other room, so I'm just oging to chill here and watch Degrassi: TNG.

Don't judge me - I used to watch the originals when I was younger all the time.
The only good tennis game was mario tennis on game boy color.
Incorrect.

Mario Tennis 64.
Mario Tennis GCN was decent.
Mario Tennis Power Tour GBA was great.
Virtua Tennis Dreamcast
Virtua Tennis 3 of course.
Top Spin was alright.
Top Spin 2 of course.

There's others, but they mostly suck.

I don't really see something like that ending the format war. But I wish it would just end already, so that we can get on with it, the technology will get old, and i'll be able to buy movies for $3 at the flea market again.

Well, it looks a little cheaper/cheasier in my eyes.

Mox, whats that 360 tennis game you were saying is good? Is it Virtua Tennis 3? And I'm not into the whole Mario nonsense but Mario Tennis for N64 was incredible. We played that, Goldeney, and Tony Hawk like nobody's business back in my college days.

A 60 year old guy watching teenage dramas? Sorry, but I must judge you.

Both TS2 and VT3 are great games. VT3 is more fun, though.

Are there challenges are something that make you wanna try to get cheesemints? And how is the online mode(s) and what do they consist of?

Me too. Remember that time the cool kid with the hat had to strip naked and walk through the lunch line with his hat over his junk? Good timesssssss. Or the time those kids wanted to be tall, so they stalked the tall kid to find out what he did to get so tall?

TS2's Achievements are fairly simple to get: beat all male/female pro players, complete first career, finish with 1000 points, etc.

VT3's Achievements are significantly harder to get all of. They include finishing the tennis academy with all gold (VERY HARD), unlocking characters, getting all the courts, 100 smash points, 100 Max serves, etc.

Online for both obviously is no CoD4, but I've had clear success in playing online with both. Playing with people you know (me, sicksers) is easy to setup.

Well I imagine the other mario tennis games were probably pretty good but I've never played them. I just like the whole RPG elements to the mario tennis gbc game. More depth to it than a virtua tennis. I bought a virtua tennis game for psp in hopes of reviving my love for portable tennis that began on the gbc. I was greatly disappointed.

also plume - the original degrassis were $$$$$ I haven't really seen too many of the new ones as I don't have Noggin (that's the station its on right?)

So Mox, between TS2 and VT3 you'd say I should go with VT3. I think I'm gonna start looking for deals on it. I'm in the mood for a tennis game.

I forgot about the height one!

Moxio, I'm wtaching it because I can't find the remote. I;m not going out of my way to change it, either, though.

I remember with My So Called Life and later Freaks and Geeks were lauded for being realistic teen dramas. Degrassi Jr High and High beat them to the punch by years...

Word of advice: all portable tennis games on the DS/PSP are garbage. So far, at least.

The Mario Tennis game for the GBA also had those RPG elements. I agree, it's a fantastic game.

Which you prefer depends on what kind of tennis game you prefer to play. Like I told six before, TS2 is more realistic while VT3 is more arcade-y. I believe VT3 is more "fun".

I believe it can be had easily ~$18 shipped on Half, maybe even cheaper on Craigslist or eBay?
I like the HD-DVD boxes better. The BRs look like those blue build-a-blocks.
I hastuh disagree.

The HD-DVD boxes look like they contain cosmetics and / or chocolate.

As much as I like Chocolate Crème De Mints and maskara, the Blu-Ray boxes are more pleasing on my eyes.
