These people are pretty bizarre. The comments I've gotten just make no sense. Also, the down voting is a pretty bad feature. For example, I voted banana time and from my vote it came into 2nd, and when the page reloaded after I voted for ultimate singstar dance party it was back down to 3rd.
 
Weird. I voted the person in 8th place down because I hadn't seen that video before and it jumped all the way to last place. They can't all be that close. Something is fuckED up.

Is anyone here part of the PS Afterparty?

I'm trying to figure out... can we only do ONE blog and one video and one photo per week? Or is it ONE of each per game?

I just don't see how you can get to 300 points if you can only do one of each only per week.
 
One per week tlwizard. Each week they post new blog stuff and polls. You can do more than one, but only one will count. 5 photos per week, 1 blog, 1 video, 2x comments on other blogs, 2 polls, etc. per week.
 
Lol well, I'm in trouble. I've exhausted out all my friends votes for today and a whole bunch wouldn't be able to vote until after 11 Pacific tonight. I guess I'll just have to watch the WS, drink a beer, and keep my fingers crossed

Edit: The lady gaga one is now 8th? Their results make no sense. I don't know how much I believe these results.
 
Yeah, my wife just texted me asking the EXACT same question about the Gaga video.

Something is INCREDIBLY broken. I mean, if there was a cloud of mixed results when people are close, I'd be fine with that.

Yes, this is the last day, but this isn't an open poll for random people, it's a popularity contest. Why is there this much fluctuation? To go from 6th to 30th and back again so quickly? The longer this runs, the more votes everyone gets and the more it spreads out.

This is more volatile than the first day. There's no rhyme or reason to it. Especially considering top videos are now on the LAST PAGE? HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN? Are you saying that a MAJORITY of the people suddenly got more votes than the top 5 who held it there all week in a few hours?

When I know people AREN'T voting on me, my rank goes up. I...I just can't figure this out.

As an example, my friends on facebook number in the DOZENS of people that I see that voted for me. I KNOW I have at least 50 votes. Obviously more from other sources, but I KNOW I have dozens. Consider that everyone else is within 2 or 3 votes ALL THE WAY THROUGH? Look, that doesn't happen. You get videos that are ignored, or people that forgot. You NEVER get equal participation. It's just not possible.

I'd be bitter too, but I'm frustrated because I have no clue how this is possible. I'd be more nervous or happy or relieved if I could believe what I see right now.

Actually, there might be an explanation.

The delay to vote again isn't a nightly reset, it's an actual 24-hour delay, meaning there's a delay before times when you vote. Couple that with the ability to downvote every video, it means people are downvoting as soon as they can, so even with a single vote, their mark is slowly hitting all over, ALMOST randomly, but rather, in order of the 1st days rankings, when they downvoted in rank or submission order.

So the end result is that eventually everyone is going to re-vote everything back to yesterday's order, more or less.

Edit2:
Went from 25th to 6th to 28th to 23rd in a manner of minutes. There's no logic. It must be all randomized right now.

uber, thanks for trying to get people to vote. I've been telling all my fb friends/colleagues/guild-folk to vote for all three of us. It's difficult enough to get them to vote for me, so I understand them not wanting to vote for my video (especially the creepiness)

I just sent a company wide email asking for support, so what happens? I go from 7th to 16th to 21st.

This contest is rigged. There is NO RHYME OR REASON right now. None. If videos were ranked by random non-prodded-friends then the Gaga video would be dead last or first, not amongst the regular.

You wouldn't have gone from 4th to 4th from last in a matter of hours.

I'm jumping all over the place, yet NEVER got higher than 6th, but I regularly hit it.

After this contest is over, regardless of who wins, I'm writing HouseParty an email. This is SO poorly run, it's not funny. It's like it's run by someone who has no concept of computers. 8th. To 20th. In a matter of 30 seconds. This is wrong.

I'm already writing my complaint email. I could understand if people had a runaway win, but it's changing too fast. This isn't realistic.
Why would I go UNDER Lady Gaga only to outclass her constantly? WHO is voting for her?

I've been watching you. I'm just as confused.

It would mean that your score had to be within a few points of about 60 people and that it went up or down two very quickly.

It's statistically impossible. There's no realm of logic where you could find EVERYONE in this contest keep equal pace with each other. (If it was random people contributing, the rap video on the last page would be winning, instead that's stuck at 5th from last.)
 
All right, now I'm back to where I was on page two. This just makes no sense. I don't even think anybody was voting for me, I already sent my "Thanks for voting!" messages out to all my friends and whatnot.

It's not statistically impossible given the vote up/down system. Most people ignore all videos below theirs and vote down all videos above them. Negating the top videos scores. The top 5 have huge targets on their heads because it's simply placed out in the open amidst dozens of people voting against.

The more difficult part to believe is the new videos skyrocketing given the positive votes gathered each day by the videos just outside of the top 5/10. I have no stake in it, but I am still voting you guys up... though without voting everybody else down, it's probably all for not.

What really kills me is I was Top 5 the entire voting period, but I'm stuck because no one can vote until around 11. AGAGAGA /end rant

Edit: On the plus side I'm up over $100 in blackjack. A nice consolation prize can be Rock Band 3 with the keyboard.
 
Not for me. I spent the last two weeks watching Green Day Rock Band on clearance at Target, waiting for it to hit $12.98 and it got sold before it did.

The real issue I noticed is that if you clear your cookies, you can vote again for that day again and again (someone mentioned this in one of your videos). I know there are a few people on there who have agendas against you, claiming you have been cheating this whole time. My bet is they just keep clearing their cookies and voting you down and bringing themselves up. It would especially make sense how you guys fell so quickly after being on top the entire time. Unfortunately, this "contest" run by Sony and House Party is a big screw up.

Edit: Welp, it is over anyways. Looks like none of the CAGs won unless their results were wacked this whole time.

Well, best case scenario is they look at the IP's, but I doubt they care enough to check that. In the end, I'm still alive and had fun making a retarded video with my friends.
