How can I get a Wii?

Only 6 days till Christmas, and I still don't have a Wii. I have to get one by Christmas, and I wouldn't mind camping outside a store for a bit. What stores will get more before Christmas? I've heard that TRU will get them on Dec. 22, but it's not confirmed, and they'll only get about 10 if it is true. I want one for a reasonable price, so I can't get one from eBay or Amazon.

Toys R Us would have to be your best bet. Toys R Us did basically confirm that they had many more units, its just a matter of where and when. Just make sure you get there really early for a campout (early as in the day before).

Other than that, try calling your local shops and major retailers.

The TRU shipment was confirmed true I thought...

When you visit Target, ask a any cashier at a register to do a merchandise locate for DPCI 207250001 for their store and other stores. It's not perfect, but it might help you find one.

FallMoon, where are you located?

If you're anywhere near NYC it might be worth a trip to the Nintendo World Store. Seems like they get shipments every morning, although you'll most likely have to get there early.

i can confirm that nintendo supposedly gets about 100(probably overexaggeration) every day. Altho there's a huge line there every day so...

I live in Pennsylvania, sadly not too close to New York. Should I wait outside of TRU from Thursday night to Friday morning? I won't have anyone to pick me up, but I could probably hitch a ride home. I need one by Christmas, and I think that will be my last chance, but I don't even know how to camp out.

Oh, I'm not even close! I'm in Kennett Square, which is probably two hours away. That's a very nice offer on your part, thank you.

camping out is simple...you just go and stand in front of the store in the wee hours of the morning and hope a shipment of wii's comes in that day so you get first dibs.

my college used to do first come first serve for registration for classes so camping out for a wii was bearable for me. and if you do plan on camping out, dress in multilayers so you don't die of hypothermia

really depends on your area, the demand in your area, how many wii shipments are coming in, etc...in the case of ur TRU and 10 shipments, u probably have to go the night before.
So is the TRU shipment confirmed for the 22nd?
There was apparently a press release on the subject, so.....I'm thinking it's confirmed:

I'm not gonna post this in the deals section...heck, I'm not even sure it will actually work..but I was able to take my order all the way through the check out process til JUST before payment, and it seemed to say I could order one.

Maybe they're the leftovers from the Amazon Vote promo..I don't know. But give it a shot (anyone looking for a Wii) and let us know if it works. If it does, I'll leave the link up. If not..I'll edit this post and remove the link.

FYI, they say they won't ship til after Xmas.

Edit: I lied. I am gonna post in in an existing thread in the deals section. ...
