How do I get my PSN Portable ID to show up in my sig when HTML is not supported?

Anyone at all? I tried searching the board but couldn't find any topics that accurately described how to do this. Yet I see people with these Portable IDs in their signatures all the time.

Um I just did the cheap way. I right-clicked on my portable ID and "Copy Image Location" then I did an IMG tag with the code then a /IMG tag.

So I'm pretty sure in order to keep it "up to date" then I'm going to have to keep doing this... I dunno? I haven't played anything today so I'm not sure if it will update itself so I'm only referencing the image.

What I'm wondering is how do people do the XBL Silverlight card... because I'm sure the trick that I just used won't work there.

Take out the spaces in the brackets.

Edit: If you go to the playstation.com site and log in, go to the Portable ID. The HTML code has two links. Enter the first in the URL bracket, and the second in the IMG bracket.
 
I've search the usercp and still can't find where the option is to change your sig. Can anyone tell me where I have to go to make one?
 
thanks man. I figured it out, it's the little cog on the right. I'm still a noob so I don't get a sig yet. A little reading goes a long way. : )
 
Use the MMOs sig, it's much better and it auto updates for $3 per year, which is infinitely better than the portable ID.

Out of curiosity, how come mine hasnt updated?

I have a plat trophy and a bunch not listed on mine. I went to the portable id site, refreshed it a couple times and tried to re-do my signature in here but keeps showing the same thing. If you click it though the page it goes to is update correctly.

You need to make sure that there's a question mark after the .png at the end of your [ img ] [/ img] code.


Put a question mark after the .png at the end of the [ img ] [/ img ] code.

Just remove the spaces from the tags and insert your own ID and this code should work:

I got a new trophy last night, and today after going to the PSN Portable ID page and clicking the Refresh button, the Portable ID in my signature here updated right away.

That did the trick, I added in the ? and it popped right up. Thanks.
 
The official PSN Trophy card still sucks because you have to go in and Refresh it all the time. That's why the one in my previous post is out of date. I PMed Shipwreck about this, but it should help other people on CAG, too.

The LusoGamer card shows your most recently played games as well as the usual stats, but if you click on the LusoGamer card in, you'll see that you don't get any extra information, you just go their website.

The YourGamerCards Trophy card shows your most recent trophies, and clicking on it takes you to a page with the details about those recent trophies and a list of all your PS3 games and trophies.

To be sure they update automatically, you have to put a question mark after the PSN ID at the end of the code so it looks like this without the spaces.
