How does trading work?

There will soon be some major changes to CAG Trading abilities, but the logistics won't really change. The basic introduction to trading is in this FAQ, it'll tell you most everything you want to know. After reading that, read the Rules & Guidelines.

After reading both of those, feel free to ask any specific questions you may have.
