how is the enchanted arms game

I was wondering how this game plays. Is it like Tactics Ogre from the playstation days? Is there a lot of customization? I just want to know what style of rpg or rts it is.
 
Honestly, I'm shocked how much I enjoy Enchanted Arms. I don't really know how to describe it accurately. It's got an almost Pokemon like customization level to it. The battles sort of have an Ogre Battle type feel to them I guess. I don't know...it's great though, I do know that. I definitely say rent it if not buying it outright.
 
Is there different classes of soldiers or are they like "pokemon" creatures? How many battle at one time? Never played the pokemon games don't know what they are like.
