Ok, so I picked it up at the GameFly sale. It's a pretty decent game, but part of me JUST wants to beat it now. A bit repetitve, but fun.

Anyways, how many CHAPTERS are in the game? I've only played the game a little bit, but I think I'm around Chapter 8. It was about an hour of play or so.

I just got Mercenaries, but part of me wants to beat this before I dive into another game.
 
I don't recall how many chapters there were, but I do remember most of the stages. Where exactly are you in the game? It took me about 10-12 hours total (including retries) to finish the game.
 
Oh yeah...I'm pretty early in the game. Just met up with that "English Fellow" Swift(I think) and defeated that guy who teleports with his magic potion....

I think it was like Chapter 7 or 8.

You're about a third of the way through the game IIRC.
 
the game is repetitive as hell, but fun. i enjoyed it. it doesn't take long to beat, and the game seems to go faster towards the end. the showdowns are the worst part, but after a few tries it gets better.
 
Just wait until you ride the horse. They should of added more of that gameplay element to the game. Just fun capping bad guys on horse back.
 
Oh yeah. You're gonna LOVE (sarcasm) the impossible level when you're playing as Diego.

Ok, I'm at the part where you are running around and getting keys inside the mine. How much longer is the game now????
This was right after playing as the Indian, which was kinda cool.

The Diego level was kinda hard, but it took me about 3 tries only after I caught on
 
Gov's mansion is pretty close to the end. (But you probably figured that already.)

Some of the chapters are pretty short, which was kind of neat IMO. I think it shows you you're time after most if not all of them and for a lot of them my time would be 1:30 or 3:23 if I remember (that's minutes:seconds, not hours:minutes) Kept it broken up into little chunks and kept me wanting to do just that one next bit.

*SLIGHT SPOILERS*

The mine part was probably one of my least favorite parts, the bar fight was probably my very least favorite. The hand to hand combat mechanics weren't that good IMO and a whole level of just that was kind of a drag.
 
Yeah, the bar fight was HORRIBLE. I was half-assed going through the mansion level, I will have to re-try it eventually, if I ever get back into it. I have to finally try Mercenaries....it's just been sitting there, unplayed.

Red Dead is fun, but I'm about done with it......GameRush trade in :)
 
This game could've used some LIVE play and more developed multiplayer. I thought it played and controlled well, but I too traded it in after beating it.
