How long should I wait to file a paypal dispute?

By this Monday, it will be a week since I've sent a payment to this guy http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/member.php?u=28198 regarding buying a game from him in this thread http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=325449 I have sent him PM's about my inquiry and he has not responded at all despite logging in a few days ago. This is actually the first time in over 5 years of purchasing stuff online that I have a feeling that I am probably getting the short end of the stick. Please advise if I am being too antsy in a short amount of time or if I should file a dispute with paypal soon, thanks!

MillerTime is a long-time CAG with spotless feedback. I'd wager that he's wrapped up with starting school, like his thread says. I'm sure you're nervous, but I'd give him a bit longer. I don't think he'd break bad now after all the good feedback he's built up.

I'll give him more time, but i would say if he has the time to log into the Site, at the very least respond to my PMs and tell me something. I would be happy as fuck if he would have said 'I got your payment and will ship it out in a few weeks as I'm busy with school', basically I just want a response from him.
