Picked up a copy of this Blockbuster Exclusive game at a local game store for only $10 and I am curious what the CAG'ers think this item might be worth if I decided to part ways.

I dont think I've ever seen one on ebay before, but I have to admit I only check once in a while.

Sadly not much :(

I found one not too long ago, and was dissapointed to see how little it goes for, I ended up trading it for a sealed copy of Shenmue.

Well I guess its worth at least $25 since someone paid the BIN price on that auction. But $25 isn't enough to part with a "limited" edition game.

Thanks for the help.

I believe you can play as that one dog...who shows up at the ending screens of 63 1/3. And..umm...I can't think of anything else. :?

I went over to GameFaqs and found this:

1)WHAT'S DIFFERENT?
More of an "alternate" version of the game here, 4 new characters have
been added and there is a flashy new intro screens and select screen.
However, the older characters lose some of their moves and claytalities to
fit the extra characters and graphics(in fact, High Five is still
incomplete.)
Sidestepping and the old auto-combo system have also been taken out.
Also, the commands for some of the older claytalities have changed.
Taunting and dashing are now done differently as well.

2)WHAT'S NEW?
All: Brand-new endings and their own end boss with opening dialogue instead
of just Dr Kiln.
(For example T.Hoppy faces Lady Liberty as his end-boss.)
What's sad is that that game is one of the harder ones to find on the N64.
Why is it sad? It was an exclusive at a rental store that was released halfway through the system's life. It seems to make sense that it would be hard to find.

That said, playing through an even more restricted version of CF 63 1/3 doesn't sound like much fun. It was the first game that I actually bought for my N64 (with Mario Kart and Diddy Kong Racing as gifts with it), and while I liked it back then, I've realized that it's not exactly a good fighting game...or a good game, period.

Looks like an instance of a lesser demanded rare game that goes for less than it is worth (since the game is crappy that may lend a hand in it too)

As opposed to games that are in more demand despite there being alot of them produced (such as Chrono Trigger for the SNES)

...all supply and demand

LOL. All the sudden a game is worth so much since one person bought something with a BIN now price attatched? You cannot judge the worth of one game by a single auction that ended in BIN.

I remember seeing it at Blockbuster for $9.99 w/ box. I didn't get it which was probably a mistake (or maybe not considering on how IGN reviewed the regular version)

Well either way, I liked the original enough and figured $10 was cheap enough to pick up a game that I knew was in extremely short supply. If it turned out to be worth $150 on eBay, I've made a couple bucks, if not I'm only out $10 if I end up thinking its horrible.

How much is Transformers Beast wars worth for the N64? That also was a Blockbuster only game, but at least it has the Transformers franchise going for it.

The site I showed earlier, lists it at $15.
