Here's how you work EB:
Sly 2 and NBA Street 2 are likely not excluded from trade-in deals.
Goto Best Buy and get Metal Arms PS2 using the coupon that's floating around for $5 off ANY PS2 game so Metal Arms is $5.
Goto CC and pick up a penny copy of Midway Arcade 2 and hit your Targets and find either Psi-Ops and Siren for $5 each
Now trade in the 5 above on a preorder tradein deal for Geist. The other games can be the basis for your CAG tradelist or sell on ebay . . . do NOT take the $2 that they will give you at EB or GS!
Come back the next day and cancel your preorder (has always worked for me) and you have $50 instore credit for $10 out of pocket (if you can find MAT2

.
Obviously, you really can't just walk into EB (or GS) and do well with them . . . but if you learn the angles . . . you can make out alright.
I always get at least a 100% advantage on all of my EB trades (NEVER do I trade in a full-price game . . . of course I never buy a full-price game).
Then take your EB credit and buy $5 or $10 clearance games or use coupon codes to scoop up cheap PO ones online after you learn the coupon codes . . . for every game you buy with store credit gotten this way, you'll know that what you paid is really half of the total.
So (considering how much my credit cost me) recently I got MGS3 used for $5, Hitman Contracts new for $2.50, Gungrave used for $3, Full Spectrum War xbox new for $5, Paper Mario new for $10, Feel the Magic for $7.50 . . .
or I could order used copies of (they always have case and instructions) RE4 or God of War for $17 worth of my value (they are $34 PO after coupons including Edge card).
Not a bad method although a bit underhanded.
