How Should I Go About This? (sorry for the million topics)

My PStwo 70012 model is locking up during cutscenes... I am going to bring it back since it's practically brand new.

I paid for it in cash at Target and I have a good 30 days before their 90-day policy is up... What exactly am I going to get when I return this? Will they hassle me, will I be given an exchange or a refund?
 
Do you have the receipt? If you do, it shouldn't be any problem. You'll probably get an exchange depending on whether they have it in stock.

Another thing -- do you still have the original box and packing materials?

I once bought a DVD player at Target and returned it for a refund ($$$ back on my bank card) after I had used it for a couple of months. It was only lightly used and practically still new. I just repackaged everything and took it back and with no problem.

Oh yeah, that was the same day I bought SC II from CC. (2003) Just wanted that more than my DVD player. :wink: and I still haD a few weeks before my 90 days was up.
 
I have all the original stuff, down to the twist ties and unused controller and AV cables (I had 2 already)... I am going to try and get a refund, because I am pretty sure stuff like this will be happening with all the PStwos... I also have the receipt.

Why would you be pretty sure this would happen with all the PsTwo's ?

Yeah man, I've had mine since day one with zero problems. I haven't heard much in regards of people having problems either.

No problems with mine either.
 
Somewhat understandable that getting a bad apple might turn one off to wanting another of the same product, though.

because when people post problems with systems on the interweb they become greatly exaggerater and thought of as universal.

Haha no, I just always thought the thing felt like a POS during play, it's just that it was the only game in town.

No, That's not understandable. That's ignorance.

Target won't give you a refund, they'll give you a replacement.
 
It's not ignorance when it comes to Sony... everything I've had from them has malfunctioned in some way... except a VCR.

I'm having trouble reasoning why, if you know that Sony products all fail, you bought a PSTwo in the first place. You might as well say "I know poison is bad for me, but I'm going to eat some just one more time."

Oh yeah, and remember NOT to put your hand on the stove when it's red, it'll burn you.
 
I can't chose which platform receives my favorite titles... If I could I'd put everything I love on GC... and it's a tricky thing, I love the Dual Shock controllers, so I guess it's a case of delicious poison.
