How To Clean Your DS?

What's the best way to clean a DS Lite? I have a hard plastic skin for mines, but I'm concern that the exposed edges and corners will get dirty and the screen would get smudge even though I put protectors on them. Is water fine or is there a good cheap solution?
 
Water works ok, i find that the best solution i used so far is a Watered down Windex. (glass cleaner). try about 60% windex and 40%water, even then you only need to dampen a small cloth. be sure the cloth is like, right out of the laundry clean beacuse a small little bit of say sand or something will leave a scratch mark all over the place. This works best on removing fingerprints.

I did this on a DS Onyx (of which, for the neat freaks requires HELLA Cleanin!)

It'll probably work wonders on the outside of the DS Lite. But will this be ok on the DSL screens? It won't damage the screens will it? (Hopefully not, since my hori screen protectors are coming in)
 
I use isop. rubbing alcohol on the screens. Stuff evaporates in seconds when you are wiping down with a Q-tip or slightly damp cloth, so shouldn't do any harm. But use it at your own risk of course.
 
The dry screen wipes are ok, never tried the Alchohol, but i wouldn't because it may loosen the glue on the edges of the screens. If you do use alchohol, use VERY little at a time.

I use the Windex mix because if you use a only a little, it too evaporates in seconds...without using alchohol, which can be pretty harsh when cleanin shit. The windex mix has a lower pH (Acid or Alkaline level) then Alchohol
