how to ensure a wii is brand new?

just got one off ebay.....seller has good rep, but is there any way i can check to see if its actually brand new? are there stickers like on sony ps3 products that cant be resealed if opened?

If I remember correctly and don't quote me because it's been so long. I remember there being some sort of plastic on the system itself that kind of peels away.

If you really want to make sure watch some unboxing videos on YouTube, I'm sure there are tons of them!
