How to find what games other people want?!

Hey all,

Fairly new to the intricacies of CAG although I've been browsing the site for some time.

I have some games to sell/trade and was wondering if there is a way to search for what games other people want. Is this feature available? I have my collection/trade list/wish list set up, but I'd like to know if there is a way to search for and find someone who is looking for a game I have. Any help is appreciated.
 
I don't think there is a feature for that. I have tried to search for this myself with no luck. I would suggest putting your list of games you want to trade and the games you want on this page. Will reach a lot more people who are looking for certain games.
 
best you can do is click on matches under marketplace. that will pair up everyone that has something on your wish list that you have something they want on their wish list. then you click on the game you want, it shows you what users have it, you click on their name and it lists everything that matches up
 
If you want to rely on a matching feature, GameTZ's community uses it heavily. I really hope more people on CAG use the feature by adding games to trade lists and want lists - it is tough to sort through hundreds of threads in these forums. =/

You can also use the search feature for this forum. Sometimes it helps narrow things down a bit...

I never knew at that size but their available/wanted listing is terrific. CAG needs to follow in their footsteps.
 
(Nwebie here too) I went through the pain of reaching people with games I want and PM, because most don't update their wishlist. Got 2 trades and 1 pending this way. Some guys are banned but still show up in the marketplace, which is very annoying.

Yeah, that's about how I did it too. Punched a game into the searchbar, find the people who have it, and then message them. Got Battlefield 3 that way today.

I wish there was a way for me, as an owner of Mirror's Edge for example, to search for people who want that game. Thereby I am taking the initiative in trying to sell a game of mine by actively looking for someone who wants it.
