How would I hook up my PS2 to a portable DVD player?

I'm thinking of buying a portable DVD player so that I can watch movies in the car, but I was wondering if I could maybe hook up my PS2 to the player as well. Does it have anything to do with composite video? (I don't really even know what that term means..) Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

in my opinion youd be better off just getting a monitor that attaches to your ps2 and use that as the dvd player. portable dvd players can be pricey so a monitor would be a cost effective solution.
