Due to an error in the listing for an eBay auction I won, I got a call from the seller, and we agreed to $70 for the following:

2 GBA systems
Mario Kart: Super Circuit (complete)
Scooby Doo (complete)
Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 (cart only)
Yoshi's Story: Super Mario Advance 3 (cart only)
xXx (cart only)
Turok Evolution (cart only)
shipping via Priority Mail w/ insurance and DC

I was primarily interested in the systems, but those Mario games are a nice bonus. What do you guys think?

good deal, but shame on the seller for making changes after the auction end. ebay has an option to cancele the auction if you make a listing error and didn't cach it in the preview.

I'd be careful if the seller is trying to complete the transaction outside of ebay. That's one of the classic ways a buyer gets scammed.

I agree. Watch yourself.

By the way, what went wrong with the original auction?

Seriously! Some asshole cheated me out of $120 for a copy of Radiant Silvergun. He was very cooperative until I sent my money order, and then he just disappeared off the face of the earth. I really wanted the game too

There are eight items in the lot, right? Well, instead of listing the bundle as one lot with eight items, he accidentally listed it as eight different lots. It looks like an honest mistake, and the guy has about 50 feedback with only one negative, so I'll trust him. The only red flag was that he doesn't accept Paypal, but that's only because he doesn't have e-mail right now.

What you can do is have the seller set up another auction- with buy it now, and then coordinate what time it'll go up so you can bid on it with the agreed price. If I were you, this would be worth paying an extra 5 bucks to have the ebay guarantee. It's what I would do.
