Was able to get refunds back on 5 of the 10 BD bought from last week's BOGO. The email method got a reply within 5 minutes. Dropped my average purchase price from $13 to $9 for the 10 BDs.

After going through that list I realized that studios really need to step up and release some more of their catalog on BD. I couldn't find anything to buy that I didn't already have. At least nothing I felt I needed to double dip on since I own them on DVD already.
 
Amazon refunded me all of the BOGO prices, even the ones I got for free, so I got 50 dollars credited back. I might use some of that to get a disc from this sale, but I do have some bills to get paid up...
 
does anyone know whether the spiderman trilogy comes in it's own special box and casing? Or are they just the regular movies bundled together? ( the the bourne identity trilogy?
 
My Spidey Trilogy was the 3 boxes in one slipcase like the RE:Trilogy or Oceans Boxset. Not as fancy as Oceans but i think you get the drift.
 
I've only gotten one response from the three emails I sent about the price adjustments. That one went through, but the other two sent directly after them haven't made it back yet.

Hopefully they get back to me soon, because I'm planning on just turning around and reinvesting the refunds into more movies.

One of mine went through last night, but one that I filed minutes later still hasn't gotten processed because they're having issues with amazon credit refunds, but credit/debit card refunds are working properly. Did you use amazon credit for the 2 that that haven't been responded to yet?

Do the cases have a no resale sign on the them or are they just like how you would find them if you bought them seperately?
 
I called back and got reference numbers and was told I'd have a refund in 3-5 days for $54.?? on the first 7 discs I ordered. Not bad as they give a full refund on the discs even though they were B1G1 (as a result speed and edward scissorhands ended up costing $9.99) can't beat that.
 
yeah. that's what i'm wondering too.
I'd rather much have the ones that come like the ones they sell in stores, rather then they coming in their own special "bundle." Since I know they are making at least one other movie, I don't want to have a trilogy bundle and then plus one additional movie. I rather get the whole set than a whole set plus one
 
The RE discs are just as if you purchased them separately but have a white sticker over the UPC on the wrapper.

The spidey discs do not have UPCs as they were never released separately.
 
So a few of you guys are having luck with getting price adjustments on orders over 30 days? I purchased a few from the past sales, but that was early first week December.

Yeah I got a couple prices adjusted and about 5$ back per movie (excluding the free ones) from the BOGO earlier this month. My order was placed on January 1st. So that brings my purchase down to about 7$ per Blu-Ray, not a bad price at all.

Edit: Oh you said OVER 30 days >.<
I have only tried to price adjust once on an item over 30 days old and it didn't work so I have not tried again. Worth a try though, can't cause any harm and only takes 5mins. Depends on the CS rep you get I would expect.
 
Hell. Yes. I just got a refund on both of my last BOGO titles. I sent in a separate email for both titles, and apparently that worked out perfectly. So basically I got Speed and Kingdom of Heaven for $11.03 total.

Thats $5.51 a movie! I wish I had gotten more during the last BOGO now...
 
I had used the amazon Visa coupon with my BOGO of Die Hard and Die Hard 2, so I just got the first two Die Hard films for $3.01 each...very nice.

Oh well. Still got about $16 or so.

For that B2G1 rebate deal, if I get a movie on Amazon do I need to print the receipt or will the invoice that comes in the box work? I don't want to do the work for this and find out I'm not getting it.

Just one person so far. Luckily, it looks like he only got the price difference of 1 movie taken back, so probably about 8$.

Refund was confirmed and done here, I don't think they'll go back on it now.

it's only 5 bucks, but figured i'd try it anyway, prob end up denied too


they shouldnt be able to deny it, i mean it's in their policy
 
I placed an order earlier today, expected ship date is jan 18th yet it won't let me cancel my order? Are you kidding me, they're not even shipping it to the 18th. Whats the deal.

ok, I read the refund thing wrong then, I thought people were getting back like 10 bucks total...

EDIT: I just checked though and I had bought my B1G1's December 10th... so that's past 30 days and I guess ineligible?.. i did buy weeds 2 weeks ago though and the difference is 11 bucks, i guess i should shoot them an email for that at least.

If you buy something on Amazon, that drops in price in the next 30 days, you can send them an email to get back the difference.

you can just go to the help page, click customer service button on the right, select your order, then send them an email explaining it dropped in price and you'd like the difference

their policy specifically states that bogo's are not included in post price guarantee

i sent a bunch of emails on friday about getting refund for the recent BOGO and havent heard anything.
So i called tonight, and got my $120ish back. Took a while going thru each order but worth it obviously.
I wonder if ill get email replies for the intial emails or not...

That is exactly why I was denied a price adjustment. But I still got my blu-rays for $10-14 each so its ok.
