Sounds like they're catching on. Definitely YMMV at this point for getting any sort of refund. I'm guessing at best they're going to look at the price you got on the BOGO, basically take half the price of the paid for disc per each disc, and see if that value is already lower than the current sale price.

If so, you're SOL.

Getting a price adjustment for this was awesome (and lucky) for those that did, since their policy is not to do so for BOGO. I wonder if they're going to try to reverse them now that they know they screwed up by giving them out in the first place? Keep an eye on your CC's, peeps.

Lucky for those of got partial refunds on BOGO items.
 
Lots of good stuff in this sale. So far I've only sprang for Layer Cake and Talladega Nights, but I'll probably order more (depending on how long the sale lasts).

Well, I just had both of my refunds processed and completed last night. So it's like they paid me to take the one movie, or that I got each for 5 bucks
 
possible dumb question but can anyone tell me if superbad, or ratatouille are full screen blu rays? i downloaded the superbad blu ray trailer off ps3 store and that was full screen so i was wondering

what bout planet earth blu ray ?

If you mean left and right sides, it Depends if you have your tv set to expand full screen material. My old set i had it, so full screen stuff was stretched and on my new one i just leave it alone and have the black bars on the sides.

Ratatoille is widescreen, 2.39:1 to be exact.

Anything above 1:85:1 will give you horizontal letterboxes on the top and bottom, anything below that will give you vertical letterboxes on the left and right.

Just sent in the requests via their email system. Guess it's just luck. Doesn't hurt to keep trying I guess.
 
You can combine this with the Sony Buy 2 get 1 free (another thread). I'm tempted to get Superbad....kicking myself for missing it for $20 at Best Buy.

4 discs. 1 for both spiderman 1 and 2 and a 2 disc set for spiderman 3. 4 total.
 
I believe it's a 4 disc set, i'm not 100% positive though

not sure what's on the 4th disc, unless it's bonus features

I've done that and it's worked fine.
 
I'm waiting on Spidey since 1 and 2 don't even have the special features from the DVD's. I've waited this long to buy any Spidey, since I knew as the movies were released better ones would come along, and they've double and trippled dipped each release over and over. BD will be no exception.

Close Encounters, though, is another story. Hoping I've got an extra $24 tomorrow when I get paid... too bad I need $1 more for FS.

Oh well, its not like Amazon rarely has sales or BOGOs on these movies or anything. We'll probably see another one before the end of February.

Um. . Spiderman 2 has 2.1 on the disc as well. The only features missing from Spiderman 1 is the stuff from the 3rd disc on the Deluxe pack(which mostly sucked anyway).
