EDIT: UPDATES IN LIGHT BLUE!

This is my good deed for the year. Also, since this list doesn't include GBA, it is safe to say I might be updating the list tomorrow, but unlikely.

All prices are for NEW GAMES. Used prices are unaffected. Games that everyone should own are in bold and yellow, as are games that Big Nick should own.

This list is almost guaranteed to make everyone happy.

EDIT: MOVED THIS INFO TO THE TOP

Did you know the Game Crazy MVP card is the best value card in the industry? The MVP card gets you:

10% off all used games and accessories
10% extra store credit towards used games and accessories that you trade in
Access to the Bonus Days (Monday-Thursday) with many new and used games discounted up to 30%
A free subscription to Electronic Gaming Monthly (12 months) OR Xbox Nation (12 months) OR Official Playstation Magazine (6 months).

All for the low price of $19.99, it blows that stupid EB Edge card out of the water.

I'd also like to remind you that Game Crazy can special order nearly any game for you for a mere $6.00 special order fee. If there's something on here that you really need and they don't have it, that is always an option.

PHEW! I'm done, two hours later!
If that doesn't earn a unique ranking or front page listing, I don't know what does.

Cheerio!

So I went to two Game crazy's today and neither would sell me Midway Arcade Treasure 2 for Xbox for $9.99. One store kept saying that it was a pricing error and that it should be $19.99. What BS. Anyway, the second store I went to had a used copy of Super Mario RPG for SNES. I picked it up since I've been looking for it for a really really long time. So I guess it was fate.

Vampire Nights WITH GUN: $24.99

I have been looking everywhere for that damn game with the Guncon2. I know I have a Game Crazy about 30 minutes away. If they don't have it in stock at that particular store, can they order it or anything? Or perhaps check other stores in neighboring cities?
From my original post:

Game Crazy can special order nearly any game for you for a mere $6.00 special order fee. If there's something on here that you really need and they don't have it, that is always an option.

That means if any store in the entire USA has it, they'll get it for you.
I did this and still haven't gotten either game and they won't refund my money. Just be aware that once you special order the money is gone even if they don't get the game for you.

I just visited my local GC and I found 2-3 employees going over all their games with lists of the new prices and advertising them accordingly, I bought Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow for Gamecube for 23.99 but when I asked if Rainbow Six 3 for GC for 9.99 he said no, that it was 19.99

Oops, I must have missed that. Thanks.
Well, the first time, I heard about CheapAssGamer.com was on GameFAQs...
It's not that. It's the fact that a user here who almost never posts, therefore not contributing anything, is posting information from here to Gamefaqs. Why not just point out that there is a sale going on and to sign up for CAG to find more info or something?
Does anyone here have the Game Crazy $19.99 12-monh membership card subscription? Does the magazine come with a demo disc? If so, it might be worth the money for the Game Crazy card. Thanks.
Ok, I'm really trying hard not to be a dick here but please look between the Xbox and PS2 sections of my list.

The MVP card is NATIONWIDE, the offer you heard about is as well. The magazines offered are Xbox Nation, Electronic Gaming Monthly and Official Playstation Magazine. Obviously only one of them comes with a demo disc--OPM--and yes it does come with the disc.
Isn't it annoying when things from here get posted at Gamefaqs?

Actually, I think it's kinda rad ;)

By the way these drops are permanent to the best of my knowledge, and the reason we dropped so many of them is to make room for all the games coming out in Q4-Q1 2004-2005. That's what the price list said anyways.

Yeah, like I said, I don't see the harm in posting that there's a list somewhere, but it should have just pointed them here, that's all.

Try going near the HIP, not sure which corner.
Then there's one on North Ave & Narraganset (sp?)
There's also one in lawndale in the small plaza close to freshwear & the movie theater. A plus is that on tuesday, all moves are $5

Are you sure the Midway Acrade treasures 2 with Mortal Kombat 2 & 3 is $9.99? If it's pat 2, then I'm all on it.

Isn't there a Dunkin Donuts on North Avenue & Narragansett?...

hey red, Thanks for the lists. Is there a reason why two game crazy's in my area refuse to sell Midway Arcade Treasure for Xbox at $9.99 to me?

They're being stupid. Ask to talk to a manager or have them verity the price with another store.

I'm gonna get Evolution Worlds and Skies of Arcadia Legends later this week. I wanted these two games for a while and I can't pass them up at this price.

Thanks, just picked up Midway Arcade Treasures 2.

If a game is ready to be shipped out for a special order, would it still show up on the computer as in stock?

Because one guy checked the computer and said we have Skies of Arcadia. Then another guy came along and looked at my list for a moment, then said we don't have Skies of Arcadia, it's being held for a special order for another store. Then the first guy asked why does it say it's on stock and he said it doesn't matter, it's being held for special order.

I kinda think the guy just made up that story because he actually wanted it for himself after seeing the price and it was the last copy left.

Also, is the $14.99 Karaoke Revolution price a typo? The guy said the computer said it was $25. Or was he looking at the wrong version?

I think what he meant was someone in your town special ordered it and it is being held for them.

I do not understand why these GC employees are resisting these price cuts. They were directly faxed to them from the corporate office. I'm sick of hearing these stories of GC employees refusing to give the games for the prices that are clearly displayed in the computers.

Be as specific as possible when asking about these games. Tell them you want a new one, and to double check with their store director or call another store if they doubt the prices.

This is starting to piss me off that people are simply not fucking doing their jobs.
For you people needing confirmation, I live in Utah and these prices are good, but you should just take redgopher's word for it. It takes a while to change all the display prices in the store. If it is marked differently, simply have them ring it up. I just got Ikaruga $20 and Midway Arcade Treasures 2 Xbox $10 from my Game Crazy and, as usual, the employees were surprised by the markdowns.

Also . . . They had La Pucelle Tactics for $30, but I think that is a universal price drop.
Shoot, when I worked the mornings at EB and Gamestop I LOVED doing the price changes. That's how I got all my games cheap ;) Some PC would ring up for .01 and I would just scoop those all up

My ol manager used to mark the price back up when it rang at a price below the sticker one. She was super obsessed with the sales numbers. Managers get a bonus in relation to thier sale dollars (Hence marking the price back up). Granted, our EB store was ranked 7th in the NATION out of like 480 stores.

Illegal? No, as it was marked the 'correct' price. Unethical? Definatly.

I was in in a Game Crazy I passed by today (Oak Forest, IL) . Though they had nothing in I was looking for, I was told the computer listed Gundam: Encounters in Space for $34, when the list says 19.99. o.x I am going to be going by another one tomorrow. I am hoping to find Gundam: EIS, Ever Blue 2, and Shadow of Destiny for the list prices.

Stopped by a local Indy GameCrazy today. Had him check in the computer the price of MAT2 and he said $20, then he said, "Wait. No, never mind, it's $10." Needless to say, he had a dumbfounded look.

Just a question OP. First time in a GameCrazy store today. I noticed this one had the new ones on the shelf below and it looked like the count for the new games there are far less than the empty cases displayed.

Are the games displayed an accurate representation of what they have of actual stock? It just didn't seem like the rows of new games behind the counter didn't match all the empty game cases they had displayed.

Thanks.

Lifeline: $15.99! Is this game good at that price I heard it sucks because you had to scream literally to give voice commands?

It's alright. Might be a good deal for $15 but definately not for full price. And yes, you literally have to yell at the mic for the main character to do something. It's also fustrating sometimes when you tell her to do something and she misinterprets it.

Most everything behind the counter is new, most everything on the floor is used. Game Crazy doesn't open up everything and put it out on the floor like stupid EB does. Hope that answers your question.

The woman at mine looked at it strangely because MAT 2 is still $14.99 used, but $10 new

Picked up Ape Escape 2 for $15.99 and Disgaea for $39.99 ('cause I was tired of not being able to find it, and I figure I should keep redgopher employed since he was so nice to give us the list).

Not much else so far that on what I've been looking for, but I'm sure it'll show up sooner or later.

Quick question for the noob, whats Game Crazy? Is it a retail store? I've never seen or heard about it till now, thanks for helping me out. Do they have a website?

Stopped in the GC in Huber Heights, OH today and took a look around. I got the last copy of MAT2. I also noticed Lunar Legends and CIMA: The Enemy for GBA were down to $14.99.

It's a video game store associated with hollywood video, usually attached to the side of one.

Go to gamecrazy.com and search in the store locator for one close to you.

I'm totally late to this party because I was on a video game buying sabbtah.

Thanks muchly for the list, redgopher! I'm also an Oregonian and currently applying for GC jobs in Portland. Represent.
does GC give good store credit for trade-ins?
Already asked and answered in this thread.

Stopped by Gamecrazy to pick up MGS: Substance today. A new copy wasn't available, so I picked up a used one for the same price ($10). It was in mint condition, and the case and manual was almost perfect. Thanks, redgopher! Finally, I can actually play the game I've been hearing about ever since I got my PS2.

Just picked up Skies of Arcadia Legends the GC employee was shocked that it was only $15.99. Also got RE Code Veronica for DC for only 2.99. Picked up the mvp card as well with OPM subscription.
