Probably one of the best HD-DVD deals I've seen yet. Free shipping on orders over $25 and a huge selection (181 movies as of 5/10), much better than Inetvideo's. Orders are fullfilled by Amazon, so orders over $25 get free Super Saver Shipping. I thought I was done collecting HD-DVD's, but this sale made it easier to get some of the movies that aren't must-haves. Getting 11 movies for $65 is nice! LINK

Yeah, like I wasn't going to respond to that. He didn't even get his facts straight. It was a bigger drop than he said AFAIK, and when you're talking HDDVDs under $5, any drop is a nice drop since people are probably going to buy a ton at once.

Complaining about not adding to a thread without a post for over a month--what planet is he from?

Just watched The Kingdom recently for the first time and it's awesome! If anyone has yet to get it, do. One of the most intense endings I've seen and best movie in it's genre.

Yikes, I thought it was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I've traveled through the middle east extensively, and I thought it was a pretty overt, disgusting example of trying to make money off of people's fears and misunderstandings. (this is the one with Jamie Foxx in Saudi Arabia...right?)

I'd rather watch Fox News and listen to Michael Savage for my dramatic story telling and lies.

isn't it a movie? not a docu? i just meant it's an entertaining movie, sure they threw the politics in the beginning, but in the end it was cool how it showed we both view the other side as the monster. i liked how intense the end was and i don't think it was a fear-monger like some movies can be. then again, never been out there.

Prices are currently down just a lil' bit again. The $5 movies are down to $4.64, but most noteworthy is that Heroes and Battlestar Galactica are down to $9.44 if anyone hasn't picked those up yet.

I am so glad I grabbed this player a few weeks ago. You can't beat these prices for movies. Combining the movies I'm buying today and the one I got when I first bout the 360 addon, I'm getting 12 movies for around $55. Hard to beat that.
 
The selection is much weaker now than when HD DVDs were first being sold for $5. Really the only one I still want that is $5 is Hustle & Flow, and Sparticus a little bit. Wake me up when I can get all the WB titles for $5 =\

Its pretty much the same titles as before. The only difference right now is the price on most of them is $4.74. The only one I paid more for on is "Land Of The Dead" at around $5ish. Still six HD-DVDs for under $30 is damn good.

The titles that were 1.99 for the most part went up to 2.99 or 3.99, but considering you can score free shipping on everything, it's actually a pretty good deal. Same disclaimer as usual: Expect most of these titles will have English and French on the covers (movie will of course be in English), so collectors beware.
 
Price drops on most of the titles. prices noww start at $3.49 and Battlestar and Heroes boxes are $8.49. 170 titles with some really good deals. I orded the last 32 I didn't have for $125. my collection is over 220 movies now!!!:bouncy:
 
I just picked up another 6 HD-DVD's for $25 and change (just enough to get me to free shipping). I wish they'd start selling some WB HD-DVD's as i'm running out of Universal / Paramount HD-DVD's that I want or don't already own.
 
I literally placed an order two days ago, and the prices got cut in half the next day. Sooooo frustrating.

I bought 13 movies new for $50.86 from them 2 days ago using this deal. I have been debating it for some time, but the e-mail pushed me to do it.:lol:

I noticed the price drop after placing an order also. I checked an order had not shipped yet. I was going to cancel and place new order. I checked if all 6 were in stock and added to my cart. I went back to cancel order and now it said shipping soon. Is Amazon using some kind of computer progam to make sure we don't cancel and place order for cheaper price or just coincidence?:bomb:
 
many of the movies that qualify for free shipping have increased significantly. For example, MI3 is now 12.99 and Bourne Supremacy is now 16.99. A number of titles are still around the $2 mark but do not qualify for free shipping. Still not too bad of a deal.

Is it just me or is this misleading? I checked and it says "shipped from and sold by Traderbora" on all the movies I selected... Sure you can go and pay $10 more per movie to get it "fulfillment by amazon" which makes those movies "eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping". I fail to see where this is a deal if you have to pay $2.99 shipping on each movie from Traderbora. Yes the .99c movies are an alright deal at $4 total but there are only a small handful of those. Feel free to correct me where I'm wrong.

it looks like the deal off FSSS is dead for now but it will be back!! :) Also those movies from traderbora were not included with the FSSS so yeah they will be charging for shipping and that kind of kills the deal. :(
