Humble Bundle Thread

The only game I'm interested in is Gemini Rue.  Yet more regret at missing the Wadjet Eye Groupees.  I wish they'd run it again.

Helped out by kind CAGs! Thanks to BigShowB3 and asheskitty I went from having zero Gemini Rues to having an extra one...who wants it? PM me.

Going to let it ride.  Doubt the average goes much higher than $4.25 in a week and I'd rather save the dollar now than the quarter then on the outside shot they actually do add decent bonuses.  Keeping in mind the android restriction I'm not holding my breath.

Yeah, Gemini Rue looks like the only one I have much of an interest in, as well.

 
Bought the Android bundle for $1... Failed at the captcha but it seems they still got the payment (got the alert from the cc company). I don't like this...
 
Finally was able to order my bundle. And still kept original BTA-value (3.61 instad of 4.02) even after 10 hours, good if I bonuses are worth upgrading. :)

Weird they always make me pass the captcha before paying (Amazon on PayPal). I fail it a good bit, and it doesn't let me proceed (or maybe I don't force my way forward. Email them. Humble is historically good about email support.

That's a good idea to wrangle in that list. I'll do that.

I still need a better scraping solution to get more than 100 items though. Does anyone have any experience with web scraping that doesn't require me to know python or much at all for that matter? The visual scrapers out there don't work properly with the Humble Store. I was using OutWit Hub which lets me mark the HTML before and after the items that I want to pull out which is about the extent of my skill set. Something like that but free and unlimited is what I'm looking for.

It was that price on during the Autumn Sale so I'd say that's a very safe bet.

As for the current bundle, it makes perfect sense given Humble's new philosophy:

Okay. I've got a new scraping method and can now grab all games. I've adjusted the output for now for only games >50% off which brings it down to a more reasonable list of 29. I'm guessing not too many people here are interested in 50% off, which is 66 items today.

To everyone who got HB with Android 8. Could you tell me what downloadable content you got with Hero Academy? The HB page says you get the Gold content, but SteamDB has two versions of Hero Academy Gold, one with six DLC packs (basically the one in the store) and one with only four (added three months ago.)

Apparently people who buy the game through the Bundle do not get the bonus TF2 hats.

Damnit, Phil Fish. Why'd you have to give your game stupid KB/M bindings? There aren't any community steam controller bindings up yet, so I was trying to rebind it myself. What kind of moron makes the movement keys Up, Down, Left, Right? This ain't the 90's. Too annoying trying to figure out what I need to bind everything to, and Phil Fish didn't list what the bindings are in any settings menu (yet it shows the gamepad bindings which show up as button #1, #2, #3, etc.). I think there might be a config file where you can see them all, but ain't no one got time for dat.

If I was buying, I'd rather buy from Humble - given the symbols there, it looks like they offering both Steam-key + DRM-version downloads.

But, I dunno - I'm waiting on Gone Home to brick more.

It's like like 2 hours short anyways, supposedly!

I got all 6 DLCs but if you want the DLC content for your android version, you need to redeem a Gold Pack content code that was provided on your HB page, more info here.

My question wasn't about adding the TF2 content, but the bonus items for TF2 that we're supposed to get with the gold pack. Which Robot did not include in this bundle for some reason.

That and I have no phone, heh. ._.

 
bought it, my wife has an android phone, my kid is getting an android tablet for christmas and I finally will upgrade to an android phone in January. Besides I love setting things on fire and now I can with my own Little Inferno Playset.
 
These are actually pretty fun 'time waster/score attack' games.  If you get them all for $1 it's definitely worth it.  I already bought Droid Assault and Ultratron after the Summer Sale and paid about $1 each after card money.  Not going to pay another hard-earned non GabeN buck to get Titan Attacks, though.

It's at $3 right now, but I'm not sure whether it's worth it since I already have Revenge of the Titans and Titan Attacks.

It was a one-per-person thing, though, so they shouldn't have more than a couple (since ROTT was bundled before.)

Besides I like to show off how much class I have by paying 10x more than those bottomfeeders. :lol:

Edit: LOL, the checkout window is telling me $1 min for steam keys.
