Humble Bundle Thread

Damn, was hoping Papers Please would have a flash sale of $2.50 or something. We're pretty much agreed that it's bound to show up in a numbered Humble, right?

I can't think of any of the featured sales for today that are spectacular. Gj Humble.

Daily bundles? Oh god.

In case anyone is looking for a deal to not buy, Humble Store is currently having a Flash Deal on Surgeon Simulator 2013 ($1.99)

I really should configure my Orbweaver for it... I think if one was sort of "gripping" something the controls wouldn't be so horrible... but, in all honestly, I'm too lazy to do so and I'm pretty that this is just one of those "games" that are more fun to watch others play it than to actually play it yourself.

Good price for RetroGrade. Wish it came with the soundtrack like it did in the Humble Weekly, I'd be okay with buying it again at that price for the DRM-free version + soundtrack.

Any other good prices here? Or is it terrible as yesterday's?

FC3 Deluxe, ACIV, and ACIV: Season Pass are all Uplay, by the way.

Yeah, that one actually looks pretty tempting. Despite bundles I may pick that one up and put it right into the playing queue.

Nah, who am I kidding? Waiting on bundles for the whole lot.

I want to play it too... but seems like a time-consuming game. I think I'll wait a bit more for a Steam or GMG sale
I was just getting ready to cave on State of Decay and it's already off (Flash?) sale. No doubt there's a bundle for it in the future, or at the very least a sale this summer.

Missed it, too. I should monitor this thread all day...

Whew.  Almost missed Wizardry 6-8.   I've heard only amazing things about this dungeon crawling trilogy.  Insta-buy.  Thanks!

Good price on Spartan Assault, or is 75% off possible on such a game? That's two good sales on MS-published games back to back.

About time Gone Home was 75% off, guess the hype finally died down.

Fair enough, must have been right around the time I really started looking into PC game discounts. It's been a while though.
There are price trackers for a reason.

If you're going to post saying "X is the lowest/finally hit X price/discount" you can at least spend a few seconds to check it's correct.

Debating on Halo: Spartan Assault. Kentucky Route Zero is still too much....
Regardless of the price, for me it's the length of time between releases. I really want to play that game and I don't want to start until I know that I won't have to wait many months between the fourth and fifth acts.

I never said it was the lowest price or it was 75% off for the first time. I just said "about time", which can be interpreted as "about time it was 75% off again". I'm guilty of being wrong all the time about declarations like that, but it's never out of being lazy/not looking at a price tracker first. If I thought I was saying anything persuasive, I'd have done the "research" beforehand.

'About time' implies something is finally happening after an extended wait, not that it's happening again. I'm not trying to attack you, just to help you stop posting stupid inaccuracies.

Wildlife Park 3 keys from the Humble Weekly Sale Simulators! should now be in your account if you bought it.

Hmmm.. Papers Please at $4. Tempting. Still feel like I should wait for the inevitable 75% off eventually.
I'll do you one better, I'm waiting for it to get bundled. Papers Please and Gone Home are just so darned critically acclaimed that I'm sure Humble will be clamoring for them to be in one of their bundles sooner or later. Every once in a while they still have to try to a do a bundle that isn't total shit.

I see a Wizard's Lizard is on sale and its been greenlight already but it doesnt mention nothing about steam keys for the humble store version.

One reason I thought the whole idea of a Humble store sale was farcical is because almost everything on the store (commercial releases in some cases excepted) is guaranteed to either a) have been in a Humble or b) appear in a future Humble. So you're just kicking yourself in the 'nads buying something from Humble at any sale price and thinking you're getting a good deal.

Well you could still be getting a good deal, just not the potential best deal. Of course this could be avoided by playing whatever it is you buy before it gets bundled, but you know how it is...

Agreed, but this is still further justification for steering clear of HB store "sales." I can count on the fingers of a guy who lost his hand in a manufacturing accident the number of times I've bought something on sale and immediately played it (although I did come close with Arkham Origins Blackgate [and that wasn't really worth it]).
