Humble Bundle Thread

I'm just collecting games at this point. I think they factor in that a large percentage of people won't even touch these games. Most probably would never even buy these if it wasn't for these sales.

Not saying they are bad, just that some probably wouldn't buy them otherwise.

I only beat Miranda by 20 seconds.  Close race today!  I recommend:

Have you tried running it on PCSX2?
No, I don't think my GPU would be able to handle it, so I haven't bothered with the headache.

+1 to wanting AoE: 3 Complete, this is a noticeable, unmatched drop in price (like a flash deal should be), and I only ever played the original Age of Mythology.

I'll probably bite on this instead of MK: Komplete at GetGames.

As for the rebundle, HiB8 was the last numbered bundle I missed, but a lot of the $1-tier has been showing up in Weeklies lately (Destructoid, Co-Op, Speedrunners), so I've been trying to get the games I'm missing off SteamTrades with not a whole lot of luck. So this is a godsend, even if I kinda regret buying those shitty Weeklies now (looking at you Destructoid Weekly).

With how low the average is dipping, seems like a great time to get in on Hotline Miami if you haven't gotten it already and are missing a few of the other games.

Imo, that's kind of the point... take a cheap chance on games I would otherwise try. Little inferno is kinda cool. Tomas Was Alone was well liked my CAGs. Hotline Miami is neat.

I somehow don't have ANYTHING from that 2nd tier. I'm pennying in this sucker when it dips to the lowest point.
Thatta boy. I only have Tiny & Big and Oil Rush from the BTA, but I can always gift those doubles along.

BTA is $3.50 and dropping.

You know i just realize i never picked up dear esther. What do peopel mean when they say they are pennying?
Paying a penny to lock in a low price. So when it increases later, they can just add extra money to the bundle they bought at the lower price they pennied in at.

I haven't been following HB for a while. So I am happy to see these past two re-bundles (deep silver, and this one) been able to catch up on decent/good games for cheap. I have none of these games. Just waiting to see the lowest price I can get it for before I buy in lol

What was the deal with Hotline Miami and this bundle? It's the only one I don't have...
This ran back when you got the second week bonuses even without doing BTA as long as you bought in the first week. So you may have just did $1 back then.

If anyone jumps in and doesn't want Awesomenauts, I could use a second copy. Wouldn't mind spodering Proteus, either.

Upon further investigation, I'm also missing Proteus (no interest in that one), so you're right. Hotline and Proteus were in the BTA tier.

If I were a PC virgin the past 4 days would've given me an aneurysm (in a good way). Repeats of deep silver bundle and hib8 is a good introduction for :newbie:

Paid a buck last time for everything but Proteus and Hotline Miami.  Already had the latter and Proteus isn't something I want.

I can tell you this... if you liked the original, AOE II HD and AO Mythology HD faithfully follow that formula and make many improvements. Both come with the expansions and there's an absolute boatload of singleplayer gaming in them.

Funny enough... I have still not gotten around to playing my .10 version of AOE 3.
Thanks! I broke down and bought it. Steam link btw.

Yeah, I never played my $0.10 AOE3... the GFLW client was a PITA.

It's not a gilby when it's on purpose.

But I was hoping to spoder an Awesomenauts at that time, too.
Just to be clear, is a gilby an unintentional game deal and/or bundle miss? If so I think I will be able to use it more often than a spoder.

Like this? "That GG Bethesda bundle glitch was my ultimate gilby!" Or should I use it as a verb for greater impact? "Bloody hell I managed to gilby that GG Bethesda bundle glitch that everyone is smuggin' on about!"

gilby (verb) - the act of missing a bundle purchase due to life, forgetfulness, drugs, alcohol, etc. with the early intentions of making said purchase
